Wasn't fond of the drawing style, the ducks look weird. However, when the action got going, it was actually quite good. Hope it'll be possible for me to watch it somewhere.
-
Hah, that was amazing!
-
Same here - I don't think I've ever completed it, either due to age / skill (I was like.. 6!) or because I didn't play that many hours. I remember sometimes I got to the last transformation and was able to fly but never knew where to go, or I would die. Still fond memories though. Nowadays it looks a bit easier.

A Danish newspaper gave it 1 star out of 6 and said it was great that this was the last Wolverine-movie. I laughed at that. I quote: translates into "There is nothing good to be said about this movie! The protagonist Logan is also called Wolverine and has been acting under that name in a sequence of movies, of which this is claimed to be the last one. Good thing! The story is nonsense - something about perverted doctors making children soulless "mutants", little war machines. But some of them escape and go to Canada where they think they can be in peace from their pursuers." This is the only part of the review that is free to read but it seems very angry to me. I would like to see what he thinks of other movies in the same genre.

SFII is $39.99 in the US though, so it's not as expensive as Bomberman - is it?

I wonder if there is a way to try out the prototype. Like.. end-game content. Would be fun if they released it. -

Enter the Gungeon is in that picture and was confirmed afterwards. -
And if it's not out on the 2nd, you can still play games on it.
-
Haha, that is EXACTLY how I feel! With a full-time job, a professional master nearing its end, a child on its way, and everything else I want to do, time for gaming has just plummeted! I am passing on Switch for release until I've handed in my master thesis June 1st. Then I'll take some time off work and work my way through Zelda. Oh, it's going to be glorious!

I'm confused - is it possible to just buy Specter of Torments on Switch as a standalone?

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch
MindFreak replied to darkjak's topic in Nintendo Gaming
This will be the first console-Zelda since OoT that I won't be getting at launch - and that sucks based on all the previews! I've decided to not getting a Switch at launch because I'm doing another Master's Thesis and have to hand it in on June 1st. Should be able to make it that far but I hate it! I would rather have Zelda now and postpone the thesis but alas, I can't do that! It looks sooooo good! Will stay spoiler-free as much as possible for this game but it's hard. I want to watch the videos and everything about the game. -
Just normal JoyCons (Neon) with a download code for Snipperclips.
-
I think I saw a price for the dock alone being $90 but I'm not sure. Edit: Yes, at least in January: http://www.polygon.com/link
-
Yeah. But then at all events, the JoyCons are REALLY close to the console. That would fix the problem, I think. Problem is, if this is not software related, it's going to cause problems and Nintendo can't fix it immediately.
-
Well, the new version (2016) comes with all DLC, the original does not. But I don't think that's the issue here. I could live with it being less than 1080p if that's their worry.
-
And is a timed exclusive to Switch.
-
April 28th.

Some new info as well:

You could also try some of the more exotic lifts like clean, jerk and snatch. They are much harder but also much more fun. Get someone to instruct you, though, as they are easy to mess up and ruin your back and shoulders.

I'm SO glad I was there Friday, no where near the queues that were present in the weekend. I didn't get to play Zelda, though, that line was long no matter when I looked. :/ Next time I hope Bergsala gets a bit more space.
-
I really hope they up the speed then. It was rather slow and it felt like you could barely get over a jump-off, forget about getting boost from it. I think it would add to it if you had 150cc.
-
I tried the console at the Swedish press event Friday. It was a blast! Really liked what I saw, the console is comfortable and stylish, it's small and slick. Tried the games you would expect to try at these events except Zelda, the line was too long for my taste. ARMS seemed like good fun, Splatoon 2 was Splatoon but the Pro Controller was really nice to use! MK8Deluxe was MK8 - battle mode seemed really fun albeit slow; I suspect it was running 50cc so if that can be changed, it will be a blast! Double items were also nice and added a bit more depth - the dual item boxes were never placed at the best part of a turn so you had to sacrifice some drift and time to get two items. Super Bomberman R was Bomberman. Nothing special. Has-Been Heroes was fun and hard - turn-based real-time strategy RPG with lots of button-combinations. Will definitely look more at that! Snipperclips looked fun but I'm interested in single-player here which was not shown.
-
I didn't back it because I don't back kickstarters in general. However, I will definitely buy the game full retail price - or well.. cheapest retail price! And will have to go for the Switch-version as I won't have any console or PC it releases on other than that.
