  1. Awww... Those are just the screenshots from the website. You got me excited over nothing...
  2. Every time you show me these cards, they seem so ridiculously overpowered that they make me feel old.
  3. Think I'll be sticking with that Black Smash Ninty GC controller, ta very much! That thing is bordering on naughty-looking.
  4. I only just got a Lapras! No kidding! I had one earlier. But I couldn't say no to that Promo. Also, don't have an Articuno. Not one. My Water Pokemon really do suck on this run. I've spent about an hour grinding the Water club in the hope of getting more Lapras, Blastoise and Articuno. Water Pokemon hate me...
  5. Couldn't you just say something along the lines of "This is just speculation on my part but..."? Seems a pretty simple solution to that.
  6. You're thinking of Mother 3. Which is nothing short of a masterpiece, by the way.
  7. Hey there. Could you do me a favour? It's alright if you're not up for it.

You know your new signature picture? Could you perhaps make me a similar one with this picture?

I don't need any links at the bottom of it or anything. I just want something interesting as my signature.

Thanks for taking the time to read this!

  8. Quadruple Poison for one energy is overkill... Anyway, carried on a tad. Next up, I took on the Fire club with my "You can't wash a" deck! I struggled, to be fair. I always struggle with Ken and his bloody Arcanine! Once I finally got a Blastoise after 2 defeats, it got a lot easier! After getting the second promotional Mewtwo card, I modified my "Think about my" deck and went to the Fight Club. However, turns out that was actually a movie... So I went to the Fighting Club and fought Mitch. All it took was a Gastly... I'm never gonna use those bloody Mewtwos, am I? After that, I made a deck called "Jimmy set fire to my" deck and challenged the Grass Club. It seemed to be a bad start, my Eevee got paralysed on Nikki's first turn, but then I instantly drew a GB Flareon, and due to a double colourless and fire energy proceeded to grab Nikki's deck and rub it all over her stupid face in a circular motion while shouting "NEEERRRRRRRRRRRRR!" All that's left is to take on the Grand Masters.
  9. The funny thing about the NEW CHALLENGER silhouette is that in Brawl, most players never actually saw one. Due to the Subspace Emissary being the easiest way to unlock characters. Now that I've taken that trailer in, I can definitely say that Robin was the best thing about yesterday. I mean, there was no doubt Captain Falcon was making a return and characters with new mechanics will always win out for me!
  10. Awwww... I was hoping they would keep some secrets... This is because everyone just looked at the Subspace Emissary cutscenes when Brawl was released in Japan, wasn't it? This is why we can't have nice things! Oh, maybe it's not so bad then.
  11. Hell yeah! One awesome Pokemon there! And the card is pretty sweet to boot!
  12. Wow, he delivered! And quite quickly to boot. Well done! OK, I know we have our disagreements on Psychic Pokemon, but could you please make Mega Kecleon a thing?
  13. I will eat my Mii's hat if Mewtwo makes a return! And even so, he sucked in Melee! Anyway, we've got Pikachu and Charizard (and likely Jigglypuff) for first Gen reps. More than half the Pokemon in Smash is enough. Greninja > Mewtwo Despite being my main, I'm doubtful Lucas will make a return. Which is sad, but given the newcomers so far. I'm pretty damn satisfied!
  14. Did anyone even want Chrom? Awakening has far more interesting characters than him. I hope you can change Robin's hair somewhat. I want him to look like my character! He looks so like me, it's creepy. Have to wonder why that guy from Monolith Soft retweeted this though... Pffft! That caught me off-guard! Why must Ridley be shoved into everything!?
  15. 38, you're forgetting that the 3 classes of Mii's are completely different characters to each other. Going by that logic, Brawl had 41.
  16. Beautiful... About time we got a FE mage in Smash! Geez, Lucina... The Year of Luigi wasn't THAT bad! Oh, Sakurai, you couldn't resist...
  17. 4. Chrom isn't playable. He's Robin's Final Smash. That's a perfectly acceptable reason.
  18. I've noticed that Chrom is Robin's Final Smash. There's your pair-up! And you all thought Lucina would get that...
  19. On the surface, Shulk seems like a run-of-the-mill swordsman with a cool laser sword. It's the fact that he can get visions of the future that makes him stand out. It wasn't just a plot device, it actually happened in fights, in real-time. It warned you of attacks that would decimate you and gave you a chance to prepare yourself. That alone could make him unique to Smash, especially on the separate screens of the 3DS version! Think of the mind games you could play! (Assuming they use a system similar to what I'm thinking, and also assuming that he's even in Smash in the first place) EDIT: The wait is actually starting to make me a bit fidgety now. Bloody Smash hype...
  20. OK, granted, there are a lot of sword users in Smash. But most of the newcomers in this Smash seem to be chosen because of a new mechanic they can bring. (Rosalina's Luma, Palutena's and the Mii's incredibly customisable movesets, Little Mac's K.O Meter and Mega Man's reliance on projectiles) Which I think is more important than who the characters are. It really says something when the most normal fighter seems to be Pac-Man!
  21. No! Nintendo! STOP SPYING ON ME! I'm starting to get paranoid!
  22. It's exactly because of that I think Rayman is as good as deconfirmed. Yeah, it would be nice to have a character that works around disjointed hitboxes, but like Wonder Red before this, trophy picture = no chance at playable. And let's not forget that model is not even made by the Smash Team, so unless the Rayman team made an entire set of models for Sakurai and friends to use, I doubt this is going to be anything more. I know it's your opinion and you're entitled to it. But I can't shake the feeling you're missing the point a bit. I think characters like the Fire Emblem dudes and even Snake fit just fine in Smash. As long as they have something to do with Nintendo, I think it's fair game. It is a celebration of Nintendo after all. Snake had his humble beginnings on the NES. So did Mega Man. Sonic might as well be a Ninty character these days. Pac-Man, oddly enough, might be the character that is closest to borderline for me. He still fits in, Pac-Man has had more than a few outings on Ninty consoles and is the perfect representation of the arcade era. Which Ninty were a big part of.
  23. Didn't you get the memo? No dudes allowed in this party! It's Zelda's girls night out to celebrate her becoming Queen. Link only got in because he looks feminine.
  24. OK... Wasn't actually referring to you. Pretty sure I quoted Ike there. Seriously? You don't like turn based games? Quite surprising coming from you.
