Then... don't play it on a Wii Remote? I'm sorry, why is this an issue?
-
I'd like to put forward a new practice. I suggest that whenever Serebii brags about owning a copy a Smash, someone responds by sending him a PM with a nice massive picture of Grumpig! Just because.
-
Now forgive me if I'm mistaken. I haven't watched the anime since I was 7... But since when was Ash a Pokemon Master? Ballsiest thing he's ever done was try to punch a Mewtwo in the face.
-
Serebii's got a Japanese 3DS. And he WILL rub it in our face when Smash is out...

For the record, I'm still optimistic about Amiibos. Can't wait to see what Ninty have planned for them. I do have to think about my wallet. Which is why I only plan to get that Greninja... At first...

Turok and I have an odd history. 1996, and like any 6 year old kid, I asked for an N64 with Super Mario 64 for Christmas. I got an N64, but I got Turok 1 (and Extreme G, but that's for another time). My Dad didn't seem to mind the '15' rating it had, must have been desperate because Mario 64 had sold out. At least, I hope it sold out... I never did find out, it's quite possible my dad got me it because he wanted me to play a game like that. Turok was my first ever FPS, and I couldn't get past the tutorial. My poor 6 year old mind just couldn't grasp the concept of jumping in first person. I could finish Super Mario World, but this just felt foreign. I went back to it one day, when i was like, 14 or something. Got past the tutorial pretty easily then actually felt excited to see what the game was like... ...It's crap. Now, I pretty much hate FPS games with a passion (Perfect Dark multiplayer is good for a laugh, but anything else? Nah...) But this was bad even with that in mind. It's just not very fun. Now I'm all for bringing Turok to VC, if only because there aren't any N64 games yet, and I can't figure out why... But don't go expecting me to shell out for it.

Both, obviously. Different stages, Smash Run and portable Smash Bros? Yes, please! I'm not the only one who thinks the 3DS stages are mostly better than the WiiU ones, am I?

I just want the Greninja one. Solely because it's Greninja, and Greninja is awesome.

Hello, the 5 of you that still bother to check this thread out. I actually bothered to hatch myself a shiny Greninja with 4 perfect IV's. Yeah... Never want to do that again. Anyway, what do you think a Greninja looks like without it's tongue wrapped around it's neck? Here's my guess. Anyway, I learned about tapering and line weighting recently and I wanted to try it out. There's also an awesome use of the outline pen here, but I won't spoil what it is. And I'm reusing the background shading I used in that Scrafty picture. Because it looks great!

You say "very bad", I say "Meh". Different strokes for different folks! Even if this did have the online play some people dream of, I'd still would have ended up playing local co-op with @Dcubed. Because no matter how good online turns out to be, it'll be no substitute for one guy sitting with the gamepad while the other uses a TV and having a good laugh at each other's misfortunes, or sharing moments of utter awesome. Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate taught me that. (I am fully aware that not everyone has people to play local with, and I sympathize with that, but I still maintain that point) I have no idea, but I'm guessing these trailers are on the easiest difficulty. Wouldn't do to have the character their showcasing get hit by something, would it? They do the same thing with Smash character trailers. The "opponent" usually doesn't fight back so that the character can look awesome!

Do you mean this one? I had no idea you could use the hookshot after air dodging in Melee...
-
I'm guessing this is because of that eShop game that came out recently?
-
So what? You'd prefer it if we didn't have a new stage at all? Everytime I hear that there's "too much X in Smash" it gives the impression that you want less stuff. Getting rid of something isn't going to magically get you something you wanted. People like Pokemon, get over yourself.

Since when has that stopped people?

I'm sure any Pokemon fan worth their salt should know that this is N's Castle from Pokemon Black/White. Which is exactly the Pokemon stage I was hoping for! I'm so glad Gen 5 didn't suffer a similar fate to Gen 3! I think it's guaranteed this music will show up in some way now! So god damn good! Audio But why Milotic? I mean, yay for more Gen 3 representation, but just... why?

Zelda's good at voice differentiation?
-
Wow, you seem to be in a foul mood today. Come on now, what's wrong? Tell Uncle Glen all about it.

Ummm... That PotD description is kinda hard to grasp... Specifically, the last sentence. What does that even mean? Because what I'm thinking is that if you're caught in it, you control the ship at the bottom in an attempt to shoot Boss Galaga down before it kills you.

So, no-one's gonna point out that Sheik is playing a whole bunch of ocarina tunes in that trailer? I can't be the only one here who thinks that's cool?
-
...Seriously? It's not even like you unlock anything for building VR up. You're making this out to be way more of a thing than it is. You can still play online, can't you? VR to me really just shows how much someone plays online, not how skilled they are. I'm currently top of the N-Europe league, yet I'm pretty sure over half of the other entrants have a way higher VR than I do. VR points mean nothing.

It really is about time we got a Paper Mario stage! Amazed there wasn't one in Brawl. I do hope there's Original Paper Mario and Super Paper Mario versions here. That'd be sweet!
-
You've not played 5th gen? That's a shame. I happen to think 5th gen has the best Pokemon designs all round. Last one is called Scrafty. It uses it's shedded skin as a makeshift pair of trousers along with a hood. I really like it! A really cool Pokemon.

Right, time to post more Free Paint drawings. I never did like the posture that Seismitoad has in X/Y. Seems a bit too hunchback for me. I don't know, I just prefer how it looks in Black/White. That said, this isn't how it looks in Black/White. I just like drawing it like this. Yes, that Krookodile is wearing a leather jacket. No, I don't care if you think that looks dumb. I've drawn Krookodile quite a few times in the past, so I found doing a different pose quite easy compared to other Pokemon.

Oh man, if Mystery Dungeon gets gipped again, I'll be very disappointed. If not a stage, then at least some of the bloody music! 3 perfectly great soundtracks to choose from this time! There is NO excuse! Safe to say as far as the Pokemon Spin-off's go, Mystery Dungeon is easily one of the highest sellers.

Yeah, when Rod asks if your deck is ready, that's the time to cheat the game!
