  1. I have fond memories of pwning as Sherry and her push of death!
  2. As great as the game is, I can't believe the online community is thriving all that much. It's quite an old 3DS game.
  3. Hold up, I thought you already could do that... I mean, how on earth did I take this picture 2 months ago then? I never get sick of the names I gave my folders.
  4. I find custom characters only really tend to work well in Smash Run/Smash Tour. Most people just can't be bothered with making custom characters for normal Smash. So the option to have a randomly customised character for those modes tend to be really funny. Someone will be lumped with an awful setup sooner or later. (@Dcubed once got a hilariously slow Sonic in Smash Run, naturally the battle at the end was "Race to the finish" He didn't stand a chance) Luckily, Mii's don't count as customised characters, so you can use them no matter what special moves you chose. (Any equipment will be nullified though)
  5. Rayquaza might just be the most time-wasting legendary I've ever tried to catch. I did it in the end. Adamant, 4 perfect IV's with Attack, Speed and 2 other stats that aren't Sp. Atk. Nicknamed it Raymond, as a nod to Disaster: Day of Crisis. I'm gonna put how I did it in a spoiler tag for those who don't want to know how it plays out in Episode Delta. (Although anyone who plans on getting legendaries with the right IV's and natures should probably give it a look anyway, I can't think of a better way to soft reset Rayquaza than this.)
  6. Still no Greninja, eh? Taking their sweet time with that one, huh? It's cool, no probs, but I'm not spending a penny on Amiibo's until that one at least.
  7. Unfortunately, Mii's don't show up when you select Random. Which is a shame.
  8. There's loads of games I would put in this catagory. But one that's quite recent would be Bayonetta 1, and for just one reason. That reason is Bayonetta 2. It's such a fantastic sequel that it kinda makes the original seem unappealing to play again. I loved it, it was tremendous fun. But the sequel is even more fun.
  9. Oh no, not this again... Guess it's another 3 months of that music.
  10. Do it. Do it now! In fact, you should make at least 3. One for each Mii type. (Brawler, Swordfighter and Gunner) You're basically denying yourself 3 unique characters otherwise. 3 unique characters who still get trophies for finishing Classic and All-Star. And for what it's worth, Mii Brawler is one of my favourite characters to use. Along with Shulk and Greninja.
  11. Yeah, this has definitely gone from "Maybe" to "Insta-buy" for me. It's pretty much Little Big Planet with better physics and a far easier to use interface! Everything I've always wanted!
  12. OK, so I've pretty much finished episode Delta, (I'm constantly resetting to get a good Rayquaza) and I feel it's time to give my overall views.
  13. ... Damn it, I can't unsee that now! Tell your girlfriend "Thanks a bunch!" And do it in a sarcastic tone. I like Peach, she's so stereotypical princess that she's kinda wrapped around herself and has become one of my favourite Mario characters. (Bowser tops her and Boo tops the both) I just don't have a need for Amiibo's yet. I don't have enough spare change.
  14. No, you're fine. I'm doing the same thing. Except I'm getting a Groudon instead.
  15. Don't embrace her too much, lest you get slapped with a restraining order.
  16. Do I know how to make a hilarious stage or do I? Totally proud of my "Barrels of Doom" stage. Great matches, guys. Wasn't a single match where I didn't end up laughing!
  17. Just to reiterate, I'll be online on Smash after I'm done on Mario Kart.
  18. For what it's worth, I use the Gamepad. It works just fine for me. I prefer the GC controller, sure. But not to the point where I won't play it just because I don't have an adaptor. Not really gone out of my way to find one either.
  19. Didn't even register that I typed only. It's impressive, even more so, because I've gone through the same pain. I'll never forget that damn Ruto Level 3 mission... Gold Cuccoos, Gold Cuccoos everywhere! Chances are good for Tingle though. The Majora's Mask pack promises 2 new characters. My two guesses would be... Tingle with all sorts of mad attacks. I'd also like Kafei. Random choice, I know. But he was one of the few characters who never appeared in Ocarina of Time. Plus, he's pretty much the "Link" of Termina. I'm thinking he could attack with a variety of masks. Not the transformation masks, per se. (We already have Darunia and Ruto covering most of that) I'm talking about those mostly optional masks. Blast Mask, Bunny Hood, etc. His special could even utilise the Giant's Mask!
  20. You can use custom stages online!? Sweet! I've got a few I'd like to show you. Tomorrow, after Mario Kart. I'm itching to punch some of you a few times.
  21. That's the one with the Fortifier and Rally troops making life hard, right? When they appear you need to take them out ASAP, you'll never finish in time if the Fortifier troops fortify a keep and the Rally troop will make your Allied base fall faster than a Pidgey getting hit by Smack Down. Once those are out of the way, it's just a case of getting to 1,200 kills quickly. ("YYYYX" is a great move for Midna, especially if you manage to grab a bigger enemy, it'll do loads of damage and fill up your darkness bar, it's also good for just clearing mooks, abuse it to the max!) And remember, when your magic is full, you can use "R" than "A" to instantly expose an enemy's weak point. Useful for fighting other playable characters and giant bosses. I like pressing "R" getting a few cheap quick hits in, then finishing off with "A" and wailing on the weak point.
  22. I disagree, encouraging the use of different characters/weapons makes the game more interesting and sometimes forces you to think outside the box and learn the nuances of each character. You will never get Agitha's Level 3 weapon unless you learn how to actually properly play as her. She is a far more technical character than the others. Head on assaults will get you destroyed, but do it right, and she's one of the most powerful characters in the game. But good luck with that quest. The Wind Waker is not one of Zelda's best weapons, If I remember right, the Allied Base will fall pretty quickly if you ignore it, so you might want to clear some threats around there first. Keep an eye on those Bombchu as well! (I think the combo "YYX" is a fantastic combo for it's versatility, learn how and when to use it.) Not really... It's more like they expect you to have Level 3 weapons for everyone. You'd be amazed at how much difference a Level 3 weapon can make. You should make getting those your priority.
  23. You've only completed the weapon quests. If you press Y, it shows you what Heart Containers you're missing, the "COMPLETE!" will disappear when you do that. So there's actually 3 "COMPLETE!" on each map. As for my progress... Normal Map - All weapons get, 2 skulltulas to go (1 involving a Gold cuccoo... The summoning gate is not a good weapon for not getting hit by Gold Cuccoos... How am I meant to beat it and get 1,200 kills before I lose 4 hearts? It's nuts!), and the only Hearts I'm missing are from those BS "Get x kills in 10 minutes" quests, not bothering with those until I've nothing left to do. Master Quest Map - All weapons get, 5 skulltulas left, Too many hearts left to count. Twilight map - I've gotten a few hearts and Skulltulas, but no weapons, not really enough progress to matter. Waiting until I've made more progress on Master Quest first. Every character is at least Lv 65 (Yes, even Twili Midna, she is by far the best character in the game! Absolutely wrecks everything with that Strong Attack once you fill the bar of awesome), Link is the highest at Lv 88. (And yes, I've unlocked the Master Sword skill, but haven't got the equivalent for anyone else yet, Ganny is the closest to doing that, around 15,000 to go) This game is too damn good!
  24. I'm at Mauville City. Just got my 3rd badge. Not really feeling the excitement I felt with the other remakes. Lame battle music and forced nostalgia is just making me groan too much. Doesn't help that every single trainer has exactly the same Pokemon as they did in the original. My current team Monferno Croagunk Tympole Scraggy Helioptile Pancham Unlike EEVIL, I transferred Eggs, so I wouldn't get the EXP boost. Gotta maintain some challenge. I also chose Pokemon I don't really use to keep things interesting. Apart from when they evolve, I'm not changing any until I'm done. Also chose Pokemon from after Gen 3. It's no fun using the same Pokemon I had in the original
