Cheers for that @S.C.G Next League Night: Tonight 8pm Room 1: @BowserBasher is host @Glen-i @BowserBasher @viceview51 @martinist @RedShell @Gourmet / Esperpento @S.C.G @Vileplume2000 @Nintendo Fan @Dcubed If you're going to take part in the 2nd August theme, I need you to send me a Private Message with a Character/Vehicle Setup. If you could declare your INness before 6pm, it'd make my life easier. The Random Tasks will be with you momentarily. Well, here's hoping you're not dead. If you are too dead to play Mario Kart, let me know as soon as you can. I'll need to distribute the vehicles by then. -
Ditto, the battle music in this game is utterly sublime. Anyway, I'm almost done with the game now. All 8 stories are done and I'm cleaning up some sidequests. However, I did manage to go from full health to utterly dead in one full boosted Bewildering Grace. Killed by a combo of "You barely survived the attack" and "Your items lay scattered on the ground" Killed by clumsiness. Suppose it had to happen sooner or later. If only video capture was supported.

I get the feeling someone forgot to update the Smash site yesterday, because nothing showed up. Not even a character video. And now there's two days worth of content today!

I followed absolutely none of that...

I have to admit, there's something really nice about the artstyle used in the visual novel sections. Simple animation, sure, but it's very pleasing to the eye. I'm not a huge fan of SRPG style gameplay though, so I'm erring on skipping it. I get the feeling @Ugh first aid will be wanting to keep an eye on it though. EDIT: Then again, I did like Pokémon Conquest... God, Digimon is such a weird franchise for me. I'm always having a passing interest over the games but then I reminded that the monsters tend to move away from the animal/plant designs and they turn into silly overdesigned mechs or humans and it just puts me right off.

I thought for sure this would be one game where I beat @Hero-of-Time to the credits, but I purposely left Ophilia's ending until last... Although I do have one question for you. Anyway, I've finished 7 stories now, just got Ophilia's story to do now.
-
@Hero-of-Time you're going to adore the skill that gives a 50% boost to Element Attack and Element Defense. It's nutso! When you get that, you might want to replace Elemental Aid. That gives a 20% boost. Which is fine, of course, but 50% is better. Plus extra defense is always nice. There's a physical equivalent as well to boot. My Olberic did over 20,000 damage once! You should try to find a way to implement Warrior's Surpassing Power as well to break that damage cap.

Changed up my strategy for that boss I mentioned in my last post. Battered it with no difficulty. Utilising Tressa with a certain late game job class, I was able to apply Sidestep to the whole party at once constantly. This boss only ever used Physical attacks, therefore, it couldn't ever hit me once I stacked it for 9 turns. It honestly felt almost as broken as Bravely Default's Hasten World Super Jump combo. Pretty much how it went.
-
Happy Birthday, @Serebii I've sent a Grumpig with a cake to you.
-
Ah, I've been purposely avoiding talking about those. But... I just found another LV 50 boss. I get it down to less than a quarter health, but couldn't break it when it charged up an attack. Luckily, I had Shackle Foe going... My entire party took 6,000 damage anyway.

I've been spending most of the day travelling to all the Chapter 4 towns and buying up their equipment. I think I can declare Primrose/Dancer the least useful class. It's got it's uses, with the only readily available way to do dark damage and Bewildering Grace being great for grinding. But when it comes to an actual big fight, it's a bit of dead weight. You're better off debuffing the boss instead of buffing your party. In my opinion, the best classes are Thief, Cleric, Merchant and Scholar. Thief can nail knife weaknesses twice in one turn, debuff Physical attack and defense and has limitless SP with Steal SP. Combined with classes that eat up SP and it's awesome. Cleric's party healing is pretty much required during the end game battles. It's pretty much the only amazing thing about it. But only Alfyn can rival it... Scholar's great spells speak for itself, and analyse saves a lot of turns. But Merchant has Donate BP, a truly broken move that I spam at every opportunity. It shouldn't be that cheap, but it is and it's wonderful.

Speaking of hefty EXP... Got my first EXP X100. Feels good.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch

I definitely agree with you on that. I can only really remember 2 of the tracks. While those two are nice, they don't really resonate with me as well as the average Zelda soundtrack. It says a lot when the best music this game has to offer can't actually be heard in the game itself. -
There's definitely a tavern in every town. It might not be on the same screen as the shops and Inn.
-
Why the hell is it handheld mode only? I would have totally bought one otherwise...

That happened to my old XL as well. Congratulations on joining the "plays too much 3DS" group.

Next update is now out. It adds Dark Meta Knight, Daroach and best forgotten Kirby character, Adeleine. I played through Guest Star with Adeleine just now (49 minutes, 9.14 seconds, my second best time) and bloody hell, she hits like a truck. All that time being ignored has made her into one proper murderous girl. On the other hand she gets insane knockback and damage when she gets hit. Effectively making her a glass cannon. Gonna try out Dark Meta Knight now. EDIT: Oh, BTW. That Kirby 64 medley that plays during Adeleine's final boss fight? Sublime.

Here are the bonus points that each person got through the "Co-op Grand Prix" Random Task this week. Isn't it nice when people get along and everyone gets points for doing so? It's always nice to foster a feeling of... Wait, why has @martinist got a question mark? I maaayyyy have not divulged all of the information of this week's task. I could explain, but it'd be easier if I just show you the Private Message I sent to @martinist And if you would kindly look at the third GP, you'll see that out of the 4 people who were above @martinist in the League Table, he managed to beat @RedShell, @Nintendo Fan and @BowserBasher. Ouch! That's gonna leave a mark. At least their co-op partners (@S.C.G, @viceview51 and @Gourmet / Esperpento) also benefit. Here are the actual bonus points from this week's task. And so here's the League table now. Well, that certainly shook things up. Lots of movement throughout the board. But not much else to say about this. Next League Night: 2nd August 8pm Room 1: @BowserBasher is host @Glen-i @BowserBasher @viceview51 @martinist @RedShell @Gourmet / Esperpento I mentioned this last week, but I'll remind you all. If you're going to take part in the 2nd August theme, I need you to send me a Private Message with a Character/Vehicle Setup. That's it, easy, huh? You see, each one of your suggestions will then get randomly distributed to someone taking part for that night. It could even be you who has to use it! Do you go for a setup that's good for you, or do you go for one that's absolutely horrid with the risk of being lumbered with it? That's up to you. So get your PM's to me as soon as you can. EDIT: Oh, I forgot to mention that @BowserBasher is the one who suggested this idea. Sign up Now! -

A handful of highlights from me. -
Think so. Man, Goby Arena does not have enough room to manuever. One team takes the middle and you can never get it back. EDIT: Yeah, I'm done. Not feeling it today.
