Race Wars start tomorrow, so here's a reminder of what's going down. I'm also gonna mention those who have chosen a side, but haven't actually mentioned it on this thread yet. BECAUSE I SEE ALL! RACE WAR! Splatfest starts on Saturday 21st at 3pm and continues for 24 hours. (UK Time) Each Group needs 4 people in order to form a team. To sign up, declare what team you're on and when you'll be available. If 4 people are available at the same time, you're good to go! Out of them three, I'd say Cyrus would be the most useful. Cyrus automatically reveals one weakness of enemies at the start of battle, so there's less time spent trying to figure those out. He also has good coverage, due to being able to use Staffs, Fire, Ice and Electric abilities. His spells hit all enemies as well, so he can eat through those shield points. He also can get a passive ability which lowers the encounter rate. Great for when you want to explore. (Don't overuse that though, or you might be too weak to beat some stuff) H'aanit would be my second choice out of those three, Like Cyrus, she has great coverage, (Axe, Bow and Electric, as well as her leopard partner Linde being able to cover Sword and Spear) She also has a high SP skill that can hit all enemies with a bow 5-8 times. Low accuracy, so it's a bit of a crapshoot there. Olberic only really has two roles, hit hard and take hits. He does it extremely well. But his low coverage (Only Swords and Spears) can let him down in the early game. Olberic shines when you get a full party though, as he can take hits for anyone who is about to die. Which can really save you. That's my personal opinion after doing two chapters.

So the Master Cycle started in Mario Kart, got a redesign and became canon in BOTW and now it's come back to Mario Kart!

Boosting Analyse lets you reveal multiple weaknesses at once. Great for getting the jump on bosses.

Only kidding, hope you manage to look past the random encounters. Here's a tip, running with the B button increases the encounter rate. So it's techncally quicker to walk.

The article they're referring to also points out that Vanpool also wants to a Dillon RPG. An RPG with that god-tier character design? Holy crap... My heart can't take it.

Yeah, @Hero-of-Time those are the Metal Slimes. I've managed to kill one so far, but their evasion is nutso and they never have any spells listed as their weakness. I've started Chapter 3 now. Had a tough time with H'aanit's Chapter 2 Boss. Really cool gimmick that kept me right on my toes. Took me a good ten minutes before I Leten my Arrow Flyeth True and clinched it! I find that the characters who have really good capabilities are Cyrus, Tressa, Therion and Ophilia. Ophilia has really potent healing skills, Cyrus can cover a lot of elements, Tressa's Donate BP is probably one of the best moves in the game and Therion basically gets infinite SP with Steal SP, which can also hit enemies twice in one turn. Thanks to the secondary jobs, everyone can have everything though, so no-one feels useless. I've been rotating in my lowest level characters as I play.

Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. I'd be up for that at around 9:15.
