OK, we'll do Turf War for about half an hour and then if Ike isn't available/no-one else shows up, we'll do some Pair League.
I'm gonna join a Turf War now.
OK, so it looks like we have 2-3 people going for it.
@RedShell @Ike you fancy Turf War or Salmon Run?
If Ike can't make it, we can also pair up and do League Battle.
So I gave this some thought, but then I realised "Wait, do I actually like any non-Nintendo game more than Skyward Sword?"
The answer is no, so here's the exact same list I posted in the other thread! Slightly edited, mind you.
So who's up for some Post Karting Splat ups at 9:15?
So far, we've got RedShell and me!
I think Salmon Run is going on then, so we can do that if we get 4 people and they're not up for Turf War/League Battle.
If anything from E3 helped, it was probably Smash.
But the Switch has just been doing well in general. Plus, it's Mario. Everyone knows Mario. And the UK likes Tennis.
You can't tweak rules when you play with random people. Which sucks, because one racket is a stupid amount for any game!
You should consider playing with friends instead. You can change a few things there to how you like it.
Except number of sets. You can only do 1 set, 2 games.
As much as I'm loving this game, it has some incredibly serious problems. On top of the pitiful customisation when playing with random people.
Defensive characters are way too good. You might as well just use Bowser Jr. Because he's by far the best character. It's almost impossible to lob him and his trick shots can catapult him across the entire court.
Pulp wins. Maintaining my amazing record of only 1 Splatfest win. Am I the Ash Ketchum of Splatoon?
When did they start doing percentages? Now I feel even worse for my woeful Solo performance...
