  1. This cutscene is going on proper long! Boss battles too!
  2. Might be a tad late tonight.
  3. Time matches tonight at 8pm.
  4. Yeah, caught me by surprise when that played. It goes proper ham! But, come on. You gotta post this game's version of "Sudden ambush by giant gorilla with weird name while electric guitar plays" song! It might be better then the first one!
  5. I'm gonna guess that it's because it's an Intelligent Systems IP?
  6. Hah! Even Dedede knows that Mii pose is the best one! And everyone knows Dedede is perfect.
  7. Oh wow, he does look a little like Richard, doesn't he? And now I'll be disappointed too!
  8. That Saxophone really is something else, huh?
  9. OK, now that I've played each track in multiplayer and raced against the staff ghosts as well, I'm gonna rank Wave 2. All in all, this is better then Wave 1. Nothing quite reaches the heights of Ninja Hideaway, but the quality is much more consistent here.
  10. I agree, but I think it works in the game's favour. Adds a bit of conflict flavour to proceedings, and it's not like I don't understand where he's coming from, seeing as he basically got roped into this because he just happened to be assigned with Mio and Sena at the wrong time. Crazy bad luck.
  11. Someone mentioned it's more a rip-off of Wreck-It Ralph.
  12. Nothing is stopping you from embracing ultimate cornering technique. ...Except for two tracks... and off-road tracks. Although those just require some finesse. There's no hope with Dragon Driftway and Big Blue though.
  13. Yes, quite miffed with that. I mean, I get it, but it would've been nice to blindside some people.
  14. No, stop! You're making me want to play this again and I have Xenoblade and FE Warriors to play! If you all aren't using Terra as your main damage dealer, you're not doing it right. She's so broken! Terra, Benjamin, Sephiroth, Firion. No other team is better!
  15. The new courses are available now, which means you'll need to update the game before you can play online. So for all you people who like jumping in at the last second for these sessions, make some time to do that. Now, it's quite short notice, so I may not be able to get a graphic done in time. So I'm gonna post the theme night in text form for now. GP1 (Turnip Cup) Tour - New York Minute SNES - Mario Circuit 3 N64 - Kalimari Desert DS - Waluigi Pinball GP2 (Propeller Cup) Tour - Sydney Sprint GBA - Snow Land Wii - Mushroom Gorge Sky-High Sundae GP3 Wii - Coconut Mall Player's Choice Player's Choice Player's Choice Why is Coconut Mall there? You'll see. 8pm tonight
  16. The best thing about that certain character is that out of all the things he could've said as a first line, they go with "OI, OI!" NoA not wanting to localise the first game is the best thing that happened to this series!
  17. Eurgh! Go to America? In this heat!? You're trying to kill me, aren't you?
  18. Imagine this, complete one story, get your cover legendary. Complete two and get the other cover legendary. Complete all three, and you get some unrevealed legendary that's connected to the two in some way. That'd be pretty rad! Especially if Koraidon/Miraidon can't be traded away because they're needed for overworld stuff.
  19. Reasonable... Uh... Reasoning, but it begs the question, why is only America seeing that drop then?
  20. @Dcubed will recall that I actually called this. It's the band-aid solution to "This open world is too big, we need a faster mode of transport", so it has to be introduced fairly early. It'll be handled like Ride Pokémon in Sun/Moon and Legends, you'll be able to call it for moving around, but you won't be able to use it in battles. (Well, until it decides you're worthy and give you the opportunity to catch it)
  21. But that design's not as hilarious!
  22. Awww... That's really lame. The initial reveal gave me a new dream of driving a motorcycle dragon, only for it to be yanked away. I'm gonna hate this game, I just know it. I was hoping the sheer awesome of that would've helped distract me from being bored, but now I'm just gonna see that animation and wonder what could've been... Hopefully, the Dragon Quest IX style co-op will pick up the slack there. Yeah, apparently.
  23. Can't watch the trailer, but does Koraidon run around on all fours and not use it's "wheels"?
  24. Hmmm... Level scaling in RPG's are very difficult to pull off in a satisfying way. I get it, it's the most reasonable way to handle it here, but it's more miss then hit in my experience. Terastal is the closest we've had to Mega Evolutions without actually having Mega Evolutions. Although it does feel like a discount version of it. It doesn't seem like a held item needs to be given to a Pokémon to be able to use it, which will still have the Dynamax problem of "Why use it on this Pokémon that needs the boost to be viable, when I'm better off using it on a Pokémon that's already great?" At least it doesn't seem to double HP and flat out block certain moves anymore. EDIT: And thinking about it, if it just provides more powerful STAB attacks, then more defensive Pokémon are flat out of luck, huh? Terastal changing the type of a Pokémon is where I'm reminded of Megas, but without the radical design change and the ability change, it's hard to get too interested by it. It won't help more useless Pokémon in the competitive scene, so it won't likely shake things up that much. Mega Beedrill is awesome, Terastal Beedrill would still be utter crap.
