I'm waiting for the Wii disc version thanks. I don't even have any NTSC GameCube games because I was a late adopter.

You and I both know I'm not gonna read that Solitaire.

Simple, it's not a guaranteed seemless experience when you are forced to buy PAL games in PAL land. If you just so happen to pick up a copy of Freeloader that is out of date- then some games won't be supported. To your average importer this is no big deal, you just need an update disc but to the unaware it ruins Nintendo's reputation. Apple won't allow you to use another media player with iPod because you get a seemless user experience- when you have to start messing with drivers and other software it becomes complicated and the user experience is ruined. (it just so happen to be extremely profitable for Apple also) It shits all over the seal that Nintendo puts on every one of their products. The US don't import because most of them can't speak Japanese, and don't typically have to wait longer than Europe for a game.

I don't understand the social problem- I don't understand why it is a problem having a beer on your own, or going to the cinema on your own. It isn't an addiction, in fact in the states it's called 'me' time and people like to be alone. I don't feel a social pressure either way to smoke with people or without- because I know I have the self control to enjoy it in moderation. Most people practice rolling at home anyway but never admit it- because bad rolling is embarassing for all.

Pros. 1. Legalising it would take a large weight off the police's and HM.Revenues and Custom's shoulders. 2. It could easily be controlled in the same way that aspirin is limited through selected retailers. 3. It would stop a huge cash cow for the organised crime industry. 4. Less stress in general for all sorts of people who would otherwise go to alcohol, cigarettes or food. 5. Taxes. Cons. 1. How can you explain to a child that doing drugs is wrong (at their age potentially a serious addiction) when the parents/old siblings smoke it? Potentially desensitises them to harder drugs as a natural progression. 2. Smoking pure weed has few side effects but it is often smoked with tobacco which is still the UK's number 1 killer. 3. Excessive use over prolonged periods of time has been shown to cause neural failure (funked up head)- it's no where near as bad as the Talk to Frank adverts make it out to be.. but there are certainly risks contrary to playground tales. 4. Taxes. Personally I don't care- if one wants it, one can get it relatively easy. I have a dealer in my village which only has a couple of hundred houses. It penetrates every level of society because there will always be demand for it.

Wii snubbed? - Sixaxis honoured with Emmy

Yeah but it comes under the umbrella of being modular. There is a trade-off between design and comfort, I think that Sony got it right.. the GameCube controller is nicer to hold but it looks like shit. -
Yeah I did say I'd stop whoring it. I'm going to sign my copy of Twilight Princess when I finish it. £50 confirmed.

As far as I'm aware it's a one-off thing. SIXAXIS doesn't have a sync button so you just use the cable should you have friends around. I think you were trying to shine the SIXAXIS in a bad light anyway, the main differences are Wiimote has rumble, a speaker and is modular. The SIXAXIS has no pointing technology but it remains a design classic. The nunchuck and classic controller do not count as advantages because the SIXAXIS does them by default. We all know the Wiimote has more potential, but the SIXAXIS is still a solid foundation. No pun intended. -
Who is deleting my posts? I told this man to buy Mario Kart DS (which just so happens to be in my signature) whilst dancing and listening to funk music. There's nothing rude about funking it out with people. Funk funkedy funk. If it wasn't deleted and my connection timed out or something then no worries. Seems a little bizare.

Oh you got everything. Source? As far as I see if it's on a Bluetooth network it should work under the same syncing procedure as the Wii. -

Identity, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Sony coins the term Dual Shock in 1997 or whenever it was, it's a trademarked name and Dual Shock becomes the name for the PlayStation controller. Third parties cannot call their product dual shock, so when someone comes into a store they'll say "I need to buy a dual shock" or they'll Google it. It's all money in Sony's pocket which could have been going into third parties had they just left it as "controller" part of it was also to 1up Nintendo. -

It's not awkward, it's SIXAXIS. There's two X's which conveniently ties in with the PlayStation's iconic buttons - triangle, circle, square and cross. It's a homonym, it sounds the same and flows- threeaxis does not work, however factually correct it may be. Homonym I think it's called. -
Now the Wii is fairly functional (bar the rumoured demo channels) there's no need to go online. I don't think Nintendo would pull a Sony and say you need firmware 2.XE to play this game. However delivering patches on carts is totally possible and unavoidable. Mario Kart DS had the WiFi firmware update.

Hunters' aim was to fill the gap on the DS, an FPS. Metroid was the logical step. It didn't fuck with Prime's integrity as a series.

$9.99 is just too much. I'll probably pick it up when it hits $7.30. -
People on forums are idiots, it might be the case that it doesn't work- but are you saying that this is the box that you own? Specifically. It doesn't sound like you're so sure because you say Datel make them for a worldwide market- but this one says European. There may be a breach of trading standards laws here if they are advertising it as works with Wii- and it doesn't. This is Datel's main market- Europeans with GameCubes who are now upgrading to Wii and want to keep their collection. Datel is not going to just skank them out.

Nice signature Solitaire. I have no reason to believe that shade fellow, he comes on and says it doesn't work? Has he even read the manual..? Research is great but end of the day there are so many rumours flying around this subject I find it very hard to believe Datel would put "works with Nintendo Wii" on a box when it doesn't. The datel website clearly states that the new version does work with all GameCube games only. Obviously I want to play Mario this year though so I'm getting one when they release a Wii version.

Yup, the bandwidth is limited though.

Yeah but this is Nintendo's answer to Halo- it's the closest thing they'll have. If they don't do split screen or LAN they are retarded.
-
This game is not online only...
-
No. They are busy working on a decent new game. Move on, okay? As if every Zelda wasn't a remake of the first anyway.
