It got big after 4, I tried but it was boring. £15 wasted. The films are nice and British.. so I'll probably see it.

If the lanyard was faulty I would call for Nintendo to repair my TV. There are plenty of warnings but I think that he was either not using the lanyard or it was thrown too hard.

YouTube doesn't do the films justice. QuickTime H.264 for the win. Didn't see Spiderman 2, doubt I'll see this one.. seems too soppy. Take out the outfits and stunts and you've got Love Actually (or equivalent)

Chat is for members I think, Rayman is really fun to play.

I hope he brings some friends and family around.. a couple of days of games on his own and it might get a little boring. For those of you just online he's going into Rayman now.

Last week Kotaku blogged about a nutter called Yoshi who would play Wii for a week, eat take-out food and only sleep for 5 hours per day excluding toilet breaks. Well he's a man of his world. GO YOSHI GO! If you're obsessed and delusional enough about the Wii then this might feel like you have one while we wait 2 more weeks. Enjoy.

Such the alcoholic cinema goers. I'll try it for the next decent film that comes out. Can't say I see much in the near future besides Jackass 2.

Holy shit there must have been a lot of adverts, 13:00 start and I didn't get out until 15:45 It must have been pretty tough to do the cinematography for the Poker.. it was a fundamental part of the film but they broke it up with a big fight scene. IMDB says 144 minutes.

Craig is a contender for my favourite Bond yet. He is wreckless, he takes risks and is completely falible from the very first 10 minutes of the film. He was godly in that film, and I think it could well be one of my favourites up there with the Connery films. I like that they've got rid of the gadgets, as a Bond geek and general I think this is the way to go.. but I felt the Sony placement was a little tedious. Perhaps the average film goer is unaware but I felt the cameras and mobile phone were too much. The use of Blu-ray is reasonable for surveilance, and the laptop.. yeah MI5 and MI6 probably do use Sony hardware for their network. The stunts were awesome, the pace was excellent. The subject matter was dirty and very hard hitting (dirty terrorism, cells etc..) and every character was really well played. My only criticism would be the 6 hour time lapses that would go unattended.. typically in a film they'll have a pan out shot of a plane or a fade in with some music. It was a very bold move to have Bond just appear after he's flown around the world. I guess editting is the cause, I did clock it at over 2 hours so fair enough. Very very pro film, shocks twists and turns. It's a new Bond, and he's not the calm and calculating type that has become so tedious. The titles broke a tradition but it's irrelevant for me, the film is what matters.

All I can say is well done, with the swamp of predictions of touch screens and headsets you did a pretty good job.

That's what confuses me. They've actually put effort into this game.. it doesn't look bad. Matt says they have really refined the control scheme. It's akin to asking a Fifa kid to buy a GameCube to play it on.. the GameCube was cheaper.. but Fifa kids wanted a PS2 or an XBOX to play it on. Nintendo still has that perception of being a kids console.. one demographic it won't win over (unless it has done already with people like us) is teenage males. No the thread is about the army of people who buy Madden every year for better graphics. I was talking hypothetically when you said "people who can't afford one" A core system is great value for money when you consider Microsoft is upgrading the hard drive to 80gb in the near future (because 20gb is not enough) The kind of people who have to get a core system don't have a HD TV, and don't need wireless controllers.

Oh I can't afford a 360 11 months after launch, I better just give up saving and buy a Nintendo Wii instead. Of course there will be people who get this as a present from budgetting parents.. and that excludes any choice so is exempt. But core 360s are not that much more expensive now. $50 bucks more at the very most.

The 360 blows the Wii away, I've never played Madden so perhaps the control scheme is stagnant. I can't see any reason why anyone would wanna play Madden Wii.

Same in GAME, you bring it in.. manager makes a quick call to get the okay and book it in. Customer gets a replacement. One reason why keeping receipts is worthwhile.

Someone I trust: I can confirm that my copy of freeloader works with Nintendo Puzzle Collection. But pressing Reset on the console after using it caused the system to freeze. Other than that seems to work well. This is a HUGE deal for people who want to play NTSC true blood games on a decent launch rota. I'm remaining pinch of salt until I see a YouTube.

The Wii can be inbetween. You can't restrict option because that's what you overheard someone else saying 12 months ago. Wii can do as well as it is recieved. Which can be shit, good or exceptional. Or anywhere inbetween.
