You know, that would be genius, but I think Seiko or Swatch owns the patent to that particular technology.. knowing that the gaming market is expanding and there's a profit to be made the owner of the patent may be unwilling to license it out for a reasonable fee within Nintendo's budget. I'm not fully aware of the owner of it but I'm quite fond of the technology, my friend has one of the Swatch's and they're great.. wouldn't give it up for my Swatch skin though, 2mm thick It would as you said fit perfectly in Revolution.. I also think it's amazing Compaq are looking into putting tiny generators in keys to power a wireless keyboard so you type it charges.. The perfect thing is.. the gyro will already be going into the controller for the rumble pack, it would require minimal engineering to reverse engineer the small gyro to unhook and charge a battery. those little gyros don't move when rumble pack is not turned on. These will be in the Revolution controller.. if they just unhooked it, the metal chunks would rotate and hey presto it's a charge.

I thought saying that this dude should play the race card went too far, if that helps put it into perspective.. Rape is never a joke. Unless you're raping a clown. -
I thought the hugo red ad was quite hot, but generally I've never been inspired by any toiletry adverts. I just tend to get what's on offer in tescos.

Then your fat aunt sits on the controller by accident, hey presto it's broken. Not likely, far too delicate technology. I'm hoping for a star wars game though, I've never played one before.. I think progressive sensisitivity buttons aren't going into the Revolution, they just don't have the depththat trigger buttons or shoulder buttons have. I could be mistaken though..

Your definition of adult games is slightly obscure.. you should listen to the 4CR podcast on 'mature gaming' they try to define it knowing Revolution will have it. I see adult games as Cooking Mama, Music games, Fishing, Drumming.. classic games they used to play as a kid.. Deep stories, casual games like Brain Trainer, Nintendogs and Maybe Phoenix Wright. I see GTA, Zelda, Metroid and Baseball as more of a kids games.. regardless of age rating. http://www.4colorrebellion.com/archives/2006/02/15/4cr-podcast-0214/

What about aqua man? He was quite a bad-ass... or has he been done already? Rhino?

GTA won't make the Revolution. Okami looks amazing.. Ultimately it's the gems that invent new ideas that i'm most excited about with Revolution.. Spore looks freaky cool, shame it's an EA game.

You geeks, I haven't even seen Spider-Man 2 yet.

Nah, it's alright.. I usually use it as an escape from doing work/revision.

Play the race card: "Is it because [i/she] is black?" -
Yep that's the stuff, I'm after one of these: or maybe in velour:

Sometimes it takes a real working product however basic to really sell something to a publisher, Look at Raid over River, they developped on Power PC IBM processors and then RevolutionReport gave them the exposure of the screenshots. Hey presto they got a publisher and no doubt they picked up the bill of the more expensive developper kit. And like someone said big publishers probably have better contacts for getting dev kits earlier on. It just gives a developper a tool to show their ideas off paper I think.

Not at all domster, just look at Geometry wars for the 360, 2D shooter and it charts in the top 10 games on xbox live as most played/downloaded. The Revolution wont suffer from having a cheap developper's kit, it will benefit because indie developpers like Darwina creator will turn to Revolution instead of being relogated to cramming their creations onto the small screen of the PSP or the DS.

Yeah it was on during Simpsons/Hollyoaks time. Knowing that the chav demographic of Hollyoaks viewers are the type who wear FCUK seems quite likely.

We have a comic book shop in our town that is almost as big as the local JJB sports There's a lot of love in Essex for the comics and shit.

£9 shirt from America, printed on all American apparel. American fair trade cotton and american cutting and sewing. That £9 price included a print. allamericanapparel.com simple and cheap clothes, sweatshop free. All clothes made in the EU or in America are 'sweatshop' free. We have labour laws and people to complain to about working conditions. Price is no indication of where a shirt is made, but you know.. Tesco are no doubt a big importer of sweatshop clothing. They drive the hardest bargain in the clothing industry, I'll check the tag on my hoody now when it's out the wash.

New screen is looking very deep.. I can almost hear the faint chimes of Wutai style music. This game has now made it to the top of my most wanted list.

I don't think a developper's kit could hold his weight..

Well my business is going elsewhere, I know if they showed Howl's Moving castle at a vaguely sociable time once or twice it would be full both times.. but they show Wallace and Grommit 50 times a day, sometimes with only 10 people in the showing. What is that? a joke.. I'll take my business elsewhere.

1up Mushrooms.

I don't go to the cinema, it's a rip-off. I prefer DVDs, and lately I've been preferring films that don't make it to my local cinema because they would prefer to show Wallace and Grommit on all 18 screens than show Howl's Moving Castle. No disrespect, Wallace and Grommit is great, but there is too much priority put on the crap films and the small fry films don't get shown long enough (1 or 2 showings at the most)

"Your body is the greatest instrument you'll ever own, learn how to use it" I've wanted a tattoo on my spine for a while, they're pretty pricey though.. and I think it would be tough to tarnish my blank canvas. Do what you want ultimately, but don't do it if you're thinking paralels like me.
