Nintendork replied to guarana's topic in Nintendo Gaming
You know that stupid .mp3 that was allegedly 'leaked' earlier.. well here's a bit more on that. Nintendo BlueWave. It details the use of a blue light in the console, the blue ocean strategy Nintendo is pushing and the .mp3 I'm not putting any faith in a random .mp3 found on the internet though. Also have we seen these? These two babies popped up, -
Where's everyone getting their news? I was thinking about getting some snacks in on the forums and mostly using 4colorrebellion.com who have promised the best Nintendo coverage and have been updating the site for it. I'll also probably check the Kotaku feeds if they are about but I'm totally steering clear of digg.com/gaming and joystiq because since they've branched off into the fanboy empire the site has become a mess and hard to navigate. Anyone got any good sources worth adding to an RSS feed?

That's MRSA. Pestneb, Revolution is a change in philosophy for Nintendo, I don't think we can predict Nintendo's decisions based on anything they or anyone else has done in the past. That way of thinking just doesn't work.. first we got the DS which had a touch screen so everyone assumes the Revolution's controller would feature a touch screen. - Hugely wrong. They could just call it Nintendo for all I know or care. -
Sell them on eBay for 24 hour listing, you'll find someone. Doubt anyone on here will take them because it's such short notice.

Hahah that was amusing when they released Mac drivers for the Intelli hardware.

ATI, though budget is more of an issue when buying a card. Tom's hardware guide are the bestest as they review each card by the 'bang for your buck' The last great Nvidia cards were the.. Ge-force 2 pro and the Ti4200 cards.. I had the former one and it lasted 2 years really solid. Invest in a solid card now and you wont have to upgrade so often.

J00 illegalz0r. May I suggest BitTorrent over Limewire mate? Safer for your PC.

Endangered gamer posted a load on flickr of practically every page. The text is unreadable and he wont unlock the high resolution versions. Result, buy the magazine I'm afraid. -
Is it possible for Nintendo reclaim their throne?

360 seems to be caining Australia, PS3 will struggle because the price is so high I think, no idea on Nintendo of Australia though. -

As little as 1%? that's so suprising. Good news for us I guess, I expect they'll have less lemming-esque movements and more ducking diving and sliding around on tables. I think this is gonna be a lot like the experience you get in the arcade where you can duck and stuff.. except off the rails. Lock and Load. -
I agree, it is cliche.

Judging the length of the post and the variety of topics discussed in it I thought you had read the whole thing. -
http://revo-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2853&page=9 The same N64 video has been posted 3 times, it sucks and would be much better if it was a sub forum. I appeal your decision and demand a second opinion.

It's the early 1990s, rap is extremely popular in America. Enter, Average Homeboy Full of dated steriotypes dispelled by the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. "Hopefully once you hear my audio demo you be blazed" He approaches rapping like it is a business deal "in mainstream music there's not a middle class rapper who is white.. I'm just a middle class guy trying to express myself.. and hopefully you'll see how marketable that is" I bet today he thinks he would be in Kanye West's shoes right now.. pity he's not Black (and has no talent).

Off topic really, sorry but the thread has gone way downhill lately. There is a general thread for launch titles/titles in development just over here where we are discussing the Free Radical title as well as the other Ubisoft FPS title Killing Day. -
Which characters would you like to see more of in games?

This sounds a lot like the Smash Bros. character thread. -

Now we know it's possible I suggest we start hassling Lucas Arts for that Star Wars fighter. -
Revolution will have 20 games for launch
Nintendork replied to system_error's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I don't think Revolution can handle this, it's been touted heavily and confirmed for PS3.. and even rumbled for the 360. But the only reason why people are saying it could be on Revolution is because of this which was released with the video: "Killing Day is a first-person shooter designed specifically for next-gen hardware. According to Ubisoft, the game will demonstrate new technological developments that make full use out of next-gen consoles." Just because it says consoles doesn't mean Revolution too, I'm thinking it's a PS3/360 exclusive. Taking it off folks, I think Red Steel could be a consolation prize.. I'm happy with it but I just don't think Revolution can handle such epic work. -
That game would be good even in black and white. Great game for £3, it's a shame.. it's worth more. The PC port allows you to see some secret junk that is thought to be about reviving Aeris, but they never included it in the final build due to time/money/creative differences. Still quite cool though.. but you definitely can't revive her there are just ghosts and sections allocated for what seems to be a revival.

Great new info, even though some of it is pilfered from the IGN cocknoses. Goku, I can dig that it's a long ol' post and towards the end it was probably a bit boring but I wasn't comparing the graphics in Red Steel to the PSP.. but I was comparing genres. The bane of some systems is either having too few games, or too many crap ones.. the PSP suffers from the latter- it's been saturated with developpers kean to shift as many sports and racing ports and it has had a detremental effect on the console's image and lineup. I was simply saying if the Revolution gets saturated with several FPS games on launch and it's hard to differentiate between which is good and which sucks then it will fall a similar fate to the PSP- "great hardware, but not enough solid games" My biggest worry about the game was the AI, right from the get go seeing the screens I bought it up.. and knowing they are concerned about AI and set a benchmark (F.E.A.R) I am extremely happy. I'm glad they haven't rushed a WiFi experience, I'd be happy if they used it.. but only if they have the time and money to do it properly. 'Insider' how mature of you? -

Someone do me a favour, find out if Killing Day is actually gonna be out for Revolution? I can't find any evidence anywhere.. it seems too powerful to be for Revolution- and it almost smells like a PS3 exclusive. Thanks in advance. -

Yeah- at least it's not a one horse pony like the 360 was with Perfect Dark. They'll have Halo 3 and a few war games but not much more. -
