BREAKING: PS3 price revealed this morning ...
Nintendork replied to nicolasmasset's topic in Other Consoles
If WipeOut 6 is good enough, I might buy it.. F-Zero really isn't my thang. -
*GAME Phasing Out Gamecube Stock!*
Nintendork replied to Wolfhound's topic in General Gaming Discussion
PS. Anyone want to sell me their little purple box? I am really after a GameCube right now. Tried getting them of several people on the forums because they are often left gathering dust in the later years of their life. Give it a new home! (me) After a GameCube, Official GameCube controller in matching colour and one of the larger official GameCube memory cards. + Any decent games. I've been scowering eBay but I figured it would be best to buy from a forum member first. [/stops whoring the thread] All of this seems ridiculous because when the Revolution comes out people will want to play the better GameCube titles.. it would be wise for stores to keep some of the first party games. -
Project Zero, that's it.. only played the demo. I thought it was a failure.. just Googled the name and they released two sequels to it.

It's nice to see what is clearly a really down to earth games developper speaking up.. I might be generalising a bit but most of the developpers who speak up about their games are rather arrogant and are basically just interested in selling their product.. almost as if they've prepared a script. I like the sound of Nibris.. I can't say I'll buy Sadness because the black and white idea is a bit of a turn off for me. Unless it gets highly favourable reviews I'll give it a miss. Anyone remember the ghost game for PS2 where you had to take pictures of them with a classic camera to attack them? it was pretty much a failure, but seems to be following the similar kind of lines that the Sadness will be.

High. We keep going around in circles with the same mildly amusing but swiftly getting old possibilities. Maybe I'm a kill joy.. but this thread is going no-where.

WELCOME CHANG3 I wouldn't put it past them.. I really wouldn't. I think Joystiq has been reading this thread: Extremely bad move for me.. I probably won't buy it if there isn't any blood. This is the downside of big publishers being involved in any game, the lawyers and market analysts fuck with the project. What I find most retarded out of all of this is that you can kill someone with a gun, slice their flesh with a blade and release a game with a teen rating but by adding blood- something children are exposed to at a young age will increase the age rating. Killing games need blood, always have.. it's not a clean business. -

W3st welcome to the forum, thanks for those.. now I don't have to buy the magazine. Text is totally readable in those scans. Sony's PS3 will only be playable to a select few.. certainly not the public.I think the big players like IGN will get a supervised demo with the system.. it'll probably be behind closed doors and will most likely be a no photos job. But I'm not certain whether the PS3 will be playable even to the press. -
Revolution will have 20 games for launch
Nintendork replied to system_error's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I think F-Zero is going to be there on launch, Sony are preparing WipeOut 6 on the PS3 in Liverpool to compete with F-Zero Revolution. I am a hardcore WipeOut fan despite it being heavily inspired by F-Zero.. If WipeOut is good enough for the PS3 I will buy it just for that probably. Sony's WipeOut typically debuts with a console.. while Sony's moves are not always a direct indication of what Nintendo will do I think it would be crazy for Revolution not to launch with a high speed racer. It's a big market. -

Sony are fucked really, Revolution offers great playable demos in it's huge media centre at E3.. PS£ not playable to the public.. The media has no 'hands on' reports from the Sony booth and are forced to write reports based on videos again. What a great deal for us and people working for Nintendophile press.. How embarassing if it is over something as simple as the controller's design. -
Raid over the River and Sadness (rev games)
Nintendork replied to bryanee's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Didn't realise the concept art was real daftada, kinda cool.. not amazingly revealing- kinda victorian styling. It's got to have a gripping story to get me to not buy Mario/Red Steel. Direct linksky -
Zero. They wouldn't release it (unless it is a pokemon title) unless it was good. This thread is saturated.

Low, he has been saying he has been training people in his way of thinking so future generations of fun games and imaginitive ways of thinking can continue. But i don't think he would be happy retiring because he loves to make people smile.. it's his life and always has been. I think he'll keep on trucking too now I think about it. I can't actually think of anymore of these probability things so I'll just make up something stupid. An army of feminists bombard E3 outraged that women have been excluded from E3. Solely because of the way they dress, claiming that if women want to dress like babes in bikinis then they should have the choice to do so.

eBay stefkov, no retailer will stock it these days.. it's 10 years old. Replica I remember the minigames but not the controls sorry..

Yes hours, they are having breakfast with a selection of members of the gaming press. 9am sharp if I'm not mistaken.

Miyamoto's game is going to be good.. but I would agree, in a world where Black and White.. The Sims, Spore and Red Steel are pushing games further I begin to question whether Miyamoto has it in him to create a new genre. I would say Medium.. but I really hope he's had one idea churning for a long time and it would really make my day if he has something great. - Miyamoto announces his retirement after the launch of the Revolution's new games.

Nothing more than a nasty rumour. Sony has no intention of doing this. Who's gonna pay for this 300mb demo then? I don't think they will be offering huge free downloads over WiFi like this. I'm not questioning the time it takes to download a demo, it is likely that if you're using an online gaming service that you have broadband I just don't think Nintendo will pay to distribute demos to all Revolution owners who want it.. it's not a cheap business. Buy a magazine, get a DVD with a load of demos on it.. buy a game and get some demos on that as a bonus if there is space left on the disc. Much easier.. and tbh, where did this 300mb figure come from? Revolution games are coming on DVDs, I guess a Revolution game will be a lot larger.
-
I think there will be a way for parents to allow their kids to buy a game once a month like the parental control system on iTunes.. obviously complimented by the games rating system. There has been no word of Revolution demos coming via Nintendo WiFi, in fact we haven't even heard about the DS demos yet.. only demos of back catalogue games. I think as we're working on a standard cheap DVD medium it is not unlikely to see demos featured in gaming magazines rather than as downloads via WiFi. Demos will probably comes on a DRM basis (to avoid unnecesary coding times) where you canplay for a few hours unlocked on the game.. but after those few hours are up you'll be required to pay for the NES/SNES/N64/Sega/Hudson game. You are free to keep the game downloaded until you wish to purchase.. but it will be unplayable. Each file will record time played.. simple DRM tech, but will be based on the system clock so no time travelling. DS demos as Jay described but I really doubt we'll see Revolution demos.. maybe trailers and downloadable extras but not entire demos, that's crazy.

Raid over the River and Sadness (rev games)
Nintendork replied to bryanee's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Heh, no hot linking I think that is for demonstration purposes only Domo Kun, we'll get screenies on Thursday. I'm hoping this game oozes style and art and has a hearty storyline to make up for the lack of colour- which was to be frank what kept me awake through Sin City. -
Rap and Rock are merging a lot this year anyway, Plan B and a ton of other artists are merging it in.. not that Rage Against the Machine didn't do this several years before the likes of Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park came on the scene. I like a bit of rap but don't venture out of Kanye West territory really.. and he's kinda softcore clean cut rap. A difference between rap stars and rocks stars is most rock and roll related deaths are self inflicted.. where as rap related deaths tend to involve one rapper going around shooting at other people. Not that I want to defend the people who came in here slagging off the rap industry.

Marmite is extremely good for you, it contains Yeast extract.. which is an exceptionally good source of many vitaimins and minerals including B vitamins.. great for vegetarians as meat is often the only sufficient source of B vitamins in the diet. I like it.. in moderation though, I don't eat it every day.. but I am a vegetarian so I just take multivitamins as a top up instead.

Game's 10 day returns policy?
Nintendork replied to 21st century cowboy's topic in General Chit Chat
Any game that can be completed in less 10 days isn't worth it.. simple as that. You can complete virtually all of a Tony Hawks/Activision game in a day.. why bother paying for it? -
Spong are basing their judgement on the fact that there are no events scheduled, a typical way to unveil a game. With a ton of magazines coming out that day, Ubisoft and NIBRIS saying "More info coming soon" and word on the street that the 20th of April is when NDAs for third party titles end.. I can't help but believe that we will get news from third party developpers.. Why does everything have to be revealed in a traditional format? Why not let the fans be the deciders instead of the traditional gaming media of the internet deciding. Release info in the magazines, the gamers get the first look.
