Couldn't see a Switch specific thread, so... I'm so excited for this to come to Switch, as soon as I heard it was I cancelled any plans to buy the game on my Xbox One. The New Order is still my favourite game of this generation (on my Xbox One) along with the original Titanfall, so I was pleased to see the positive reviews for the sequel and have done well to resist the urge so far! What has actually prompted me start this thread is the news that Panic Button are, once again, on port duty. After Doom and Rocket League this is expected but also fantastic news and hopefully after the wonders of getting Doom portable this will be even better

I'm a big fan of Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy, but one thing I'm not a fan of in them, certainly the final one, is Hans Zimmer attempting to sabotage dialogue and steal the show with his sound track. I love some of the songs in isolation (when running, for example) but during the film's I can find it a bit much, and even in Batman Vs Superman too. So I admire the composing in BOTW for the restraint shown and how, well, delicate it is. The little piano tinkle kicking in is beautiful, and considering how important music has been in the Zelda series for so long, it adds to the whole ripping up the rule book with BOTW in that it does take a back seat and encourages you to enjoy the "sounds of the wild" more. For this game, it's perfectly judged and actually enhances the experience.

I agree, probably too early and, if I remember correctly, selling the Wii U with 3U did little business for them at all back in 2012. It'd be a shame for them to be unable to have both markets to count on, especially as it sells so well in Japan usually; saying that if 70 million PS4's sold and only 5.5 of those in Japan, they are probably going for the right market share

So, troubling for Capcom sales wise? You'd think it would sell more...but then there is a month until the actual game is released!

Contemptible I know, but did anyone switch easy mode on in this game? I haven't played it for months and had a bash at the start of the third world today... difficulty has spiked! I had ummed and ahhed about trading it in possibly, but I'd like to see the end so debating whether easy mode is the way forward til I find my bearings...how easy is easy mode?!

I read the review of WWE 2K18 on Nintendo Life yesterday, sounds like a shockingly bad port! You can tell who has taken the time with their releases or, like Golf Story, those that started development on Wii U or have already seen release elsewhere that have those issues already sorted. It's like day one patches on my Xbox all over again in many respects, how can you release a game that borked?

We haven't heard much from third parties regarding sales apart from Ubisoft saying Rabbids was good for them; Rocket League has been top of the eShop chart since it's launch so it must be shifting a fair few copies you'd think? True on the ports front though, I can see Switch getting included in the remaster/re release phenomenon that's happening at the moment but bigger titles that require more grunt, like say Assassin's Creed Origins, will probably be MIA as the compromise will be too great. In the mean time, indie developers seem to be filling that void, especially with actually quality titles as well, not just dross!

Yeah the biggest factor now will be momentum; as @Sheikah says this year has been top loaded, we now need to see Metroid footage, next Pikmin, Smash etc to see that the games are still coming and they haven't done a reverse of the Wii U and blown their load too soon, as it were. Tempering that, though, is they've set their bar so high again in terms of the quality of software; I remember last year the Respawn employ Mohamed Alawi (apologies if that's not spelt right) did that drunken interview where he trashed Nintendo and said they hadn't made a great game for 10 years. While I disagree, this year they've undoubtedly produced some incredible titles which the likes of Prime 4 need to follow. And if it continues to sell well then it can't be ignored by third parties, you'd think! Also I know it's already been released on other platforms, but I literally can't wait for Wolfenstein on the Switch, hopefully it might get some more sales recognition with a "re release" as such.

I posted yesterday (I think) that Switch has sold 2.5 million LTD in Japan so far, so that's 7.5 for the rest of us...if that's the stat you were looking for!

Just finished it now; I don't feel lied to but much like my only gripe with the original story, I feel like the ending isn't justified by the means of getting there, once again you're supposed to care about a significant moment without the build up to it setting the scene properly. It's formulaic and underwhelming compared to the game as a whole, but then it is more to do in, in my opinion, one of the best games ever made, so there is that!

I actually just checked the store on my Xbox and it's £35 on there too...I know it's been on sale before but as a base price...too much. Still, I've asked for eShop vouchers for Christmas so hopefully I'll pick this up on the day as my Xmas treat!

With me moaning about the £35 price tag...I should have just backed it a couple of years ago if I wanted a better price!

Doing my "no fast travel" go on Master Mode, it does feel like a different game in many respects; finding I've had to pick and choose battles more carefully and selling alot of gems to buy and power up armour too. It's been interesting doing the DLC on my normal go, what a luxury fast travel feels!

My main feeling after seeing that trailer was "what the hell have I just watched?" God bless Kojima, I may not understand all of his work but the man's a visionary and great to see his ambition is being let off the leash now he's running the show!

Dove straight into the story DLC and just finished up the initial part, interested to see how it develops as that was a bit underwhelming...

Reminded me of when I played years ago; you get one red shell and everyone comes streaming past you, just as you think you're doing well! Diabolical from me apart from a cheeky win on Ribbon Road, I played the first race trying to accelerate with R like Rocket League...still great fun!

Oh come on, finish 2nd and we all get DC'd! Start from Ice Ice again I guess when everyone's back?
