Risotto is a good choice, and it's pretty easy. Fry some chicken, onion and garlic in a pan till the chicken has browned, and whilst this is doing it, make 3 pints of chicken stock. Add some arborio rice to the pan (keep stirring), along with plenty olive oil, and after 5 mins, add a tin of chopped tomatoes, and a few slices of courgette (optional) and about 2 pints of stock. Keep stirring regularly over a medium heat otherwise the rice will stick to the pan. Use the other pint of stock if the risotto is getting thick and not cooked yet. Once cooked, let it stand for about 20 minutes. Add some butter and some sour cream. Really tasty, a bit more interesting than spag bol, pretty easy and damn cheap to make. But the best thing to do though is tell your friend to bugger off cos you'll be playing Mario Galaxy!

Post any examples you can think of where logic completely goes out of the window in videogames. Try not to be game specific, try and think of something that appears in a lot of games. I'll get us started: The more you beat up on a boss character, the stronger they become, often moving faster and using much stronger attacks. In return for you saving their lives, NPC's constantly send you on fetch quests which surely would waste more time and hasten their impending doom. Any more?

If it does happen, then I wonder what the last few days will be like if it is widespread knowledge that it will happen, perhaps by an asteroid or whatever. Mass hysteria, looting, the worst in human nature coming out in people. That's what I fear the most. The scene in War of the Worlds (the 2005 movie) where Tom Cruise and his family get pulled out of their car and people start turning on each other and even killing, is one of the most disturbing scenes in the film. Do you think this will ever happen to us? I do, be it from nuclear war, natural disaster, overpopulation and consumption of natural resources, alien invasion or whatever, I reckon that in the next 10000 years or so, we could have had our chips. I know that the Earth will be destroyed in about 5 billion years time when the sun reaches the red giant phase in it's evolution, but I think that extinction will happen a lot sooner. What do you reckon? It happened to the dinosaurs, so why not us?

I'd like to see either Paul Jewell or Iain Dowie (he still lives near the Reebok) somebody with a bit of experience, unlike Lee who, although a fantastic coach, was just not a good manager. We need somebody in who can sort out the rifts behind the scenes and gain a bit of stability. I wasn't happy with the appointment of Lee, though I don't blame him for taking the job. As for the timing, it's perfect if we can get someone in soon. It gives him a few months before the transfer window, so I'm quite happy. But then, we are talking about cheap and cheerful Bolton here, so I'll bet that Speed is announced as caretaker until further notice, and he'll eventually get the job. I'm not sure about the badges tbh
