It'll be about £66 for a Saturday now. It's scandalous!

Just got news that the theory test is going up to £30 from £28.50 on 1 April and the practical test is going up to £56.50 from £48.50. Bloody ridiculous. So anybody who needs to book soon better do it now.

Ok, this is a game I've been playing on another forum, it can get a little funny (and random) depending on the people who play it. Basically, the idea is that we start with three words and the next person adds another 3 words (nothing else other than 3 words and punctuation marks!!) which carry on the sentence to ultimately make a story. The only rule is to stay reasonably in context and to relate your three words to the three in the previous post. I'll start us off... "My Wii is" Over to you boys and girls...

New York is awesome, but it'd hardly be a good family holiday. It's great for sightseeing, but I wouldn't take any youngsters there. I'd probably recommend Florida for all the theme parks and attractions.

Well, I support my local team (Bolton) so nobody can accuse me of glory hunting. However, there are probably more Man U and Liverpool fans here than there are Bolton. That was especially true in the late 80s when we were in the old Division 4 (League 2)

Bet you had both for lunch really!!

Glad we'll be taking a 1-0 lead to Madrid, and that we didn't concede an away goal, but we should have been going there 2 or 3 up. We really miss Anelka!

Ooo! Forgot about that trailer today - will check it out! Thanks! Favourite would have to be Raiders of the Lost Ark. I was only 3 when it came out in 1981, but I probably watched it when I was five and was blown away by it. The last part scared the sh*t out of me though! This and Star Wars hold a special place in my heart -

Got my tickets through the post today to watch Lee Evans in Manchester in November. Last time I went watching him two years ago, I had sore cheeks for days afterwards from laughing! Would have to say that he's my favourite, but other great ones are Jack Dee Chris Rock Richard Pryor Bill Bailey. Which comedians do you like/dislike?

Will have to agree there. Evil Empire sucks but their first is by far the best. RE: Behemoth - Don't know how you can listen to that kind of stuff. I mean, the music is ok, but the "singing" is, well...awful. Bands like that sound like they've employed the same grizzly bear with a bad throat infection to lay down the vocals on all their albums. Each to their own though I suppose.

Was well chuffed today - heard a song about 15 years ago, really liked it - it had a really catchy tune but didn't know who did it. Because it's an instrumental, I obviously couldn't search for lyrics and not knowing who did it or what the song was called, I was obviously not going to know what it was. Anyway, as chance would have it, it was on the radio, so I used my phone to record it and find out what it was. Now I've downloaded it! The song is called Sylvia by a Dutch band called Focus, done in the 70s, won't be everyone's cup of tea but I like it

I used to smoke a couple of years ago - gave up - feel much better now. My senses of taste and smell are better, I can exercise more easily and for some reason, I don't get anywhere near the amount of colds I used to (before they used to last for weeks, now it's a few days) But we are in a nanny state nowadays. I am happy that I quit smoking, but I wouldn't (couldn't be bothered) try to force my views onto somebody else. As long as I'm not eating, I don't mind people smoking around me.

And they thought that the City fans would show a lack of class - people are selling their 50th anniversary commemorative scarves that were left on their seats before yesterday's game. http://search.ebay.co.uk:80/munich-scarf_W0QQ_trksidZm37QQdfspZ1QQfobfmtZ1QQfromZR40QQfsooZ2QQfsopZ32QQlredZmunichQ20scarfQQsaobfmtsZinsif A lot are being sabotaged though - some have bids up to £10 million! lol

Feel pretty happy today - just booked a week's holiday to Tunisia in September. Staying at a 5 star hotel too! Never been before so looking forward to it loads! Just wondered where other forum members are going this year. Or where your favourite places in the world are.

Pah, we battered Portsmouth and still lost! Oh well, at least we're playing a bit better now - we should stay up

Average is 45 hours - but I've had people pass in 20, one or two in nearly 200. Everyone is different

Ok, I tend to find that it gives people a kick up the bum to get studying if they have their test coming up! Good luck, let me know if you need any help with anything
