Emasher Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 this is NOT a way to fix the problems people have been having with a wii conect 24 update it is a way to fix another problem as you may know there was an update on wii conect 24. well if you have a problem how the controllers are not working but you dont get an error message its not a major problem how to fix: shut down the console (unfortunatly you will lose unsaved data) and take the bateries out of the controler, unlug any controller extentions. next turn the console back on and put the batteries back in the controller. now re-sync the controllers (all the ones you have) now your ready to go again. (exept you need to replace you unsaved data)
Nintendork Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Nintendo Europe has said that this bricking update will be resolved by the European launch. So shouldn't affect most Europeans (don't panic)
Emasher Posted November 23, 2006 Author Posted November 23, 2006 this thread is about a different problem i have had that is easy to solve but when i first saw it i thought it was the deadly update so i paniced so i just wanted to tell everyone else about this other minor problem so they dont worry. also the deadly update should be fixed before the jp lanch! (i remember running to my basment as soon as i heard about the deadly update to turn off wii conect 24)
Kraser Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 I hope so. If there's any kind of a risk i won't update my Wii.
Jasper Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 What happened to exclamation marks and big letters at the beginning of sentences? It's annoying to read those fat letters - they seem as if he's a Nintendo employee despreadly trying to make his point. And it also feels as if you are commanding people. This guy makes me kinda annoyed... And, erm, there are some malfunctioning Wii's and again everyone is thinking that there are huge problems with them. If it was a huge problem, every Wii would have broken by now. And in case you can't remember, there are only a few broken ones. Please stop this yanking about the trouble and see as it is right now.
Yoshiking Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Exclamation marks are pretty lame. That's all. I do hope most problems will be resolved by the European launch though, and I'm pretty sure they will. So yeah. I'm not worried.
AshMat Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Yeah, that's good thing about getting it last, everyone else suffers the issues and we get the fixed versions.
dannbrownn Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 I hope so. If there's any kind of a risk i won't update my Wii. Exactly my thoughts, the wait might kill me, but i am going to leave it until a week after launch to go online so that we can be sure there is no serious problem on PAL systems. Perfectly said

demonmike04 Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 Hurray, random unnecessary insult. Sir, can you fully understand his original post?
Yoshiking Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 I can tell that it's a joke or reference I don't get.
