arab_freak Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 Am I the only person who thinks the graphics look like shit? And why haven't they put any DS-Wii connectivity? Would've been more fun if there was.
pedrocasilva Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 Am I the only person who thinks the graphics look like shit? And why haven't they put any DS-Wii connectivity? Would've been more fun if there was. Most likely since the DS game wasn't designed with the Wii version in mind, connectivity wouldn't be possible. Graphics could run on any last gen console, they're simple and do the job, said that I doubt you'll see the image that jagged in the final release. What matters the most in this game is the gameplay.
solitanze Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 Will the dishes that can be prepared in the game be from a range of regions and include delicacies such as fish testicles, raw horse meat, snails, frog legs etc?
pedrocasilva Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 Will the dishes that can be prepared in the game be from a range of regions and include delicacies such as fish testicles, raw horse meat, snails, frog legs etc?Would the scores and reviews be better if it had those dishes? Cause I'm not that fond of those, so they can leave them out and make a special edition for solitanze and critics.

I thought they were blatantly obvious though. Edit: It's also grea to see solitanze's nick like that. So recomforting.

ShadowV7 Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 Wow I can't say I expected it to be a full price game. I might pick it up if I see it in the bargain bin but surely it won't sell as well.
flameboy Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 been thinking about it even more...wasn't cooking mama on the DS even slightly cheaper than full price? wot a rip off...
Hero-of-Time Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 My copy has arrived from Gameplay, I will let you know my thoughts once I get back from work and fire it up.

Yeah let us know...My girlfriend really wants this, she says it might be "her" game, you know the game that really gets her into gaming! I'm not gonna pay full price for it though...
theguyfromspark Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 Yeah, the missis loved the DS version so I've been informed that I have to buy this version regardless of reviews/budget/time or I may be sleeping on the sofa!
Hero-of-Time Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 I played an hour with my nephews on multiplayer this afternoon and it was freakin hilarious. One game came down to the last meal and it was fast, frantic action in the kitchen to see who would win....I did What the reviews say about the controls is kind of true. Its not that they are unresponsive its just that some of the actions explained to you before the game dont work very well and you have to find a different way to tilt/swing etc the wiimote.

Hero-of-Time Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 I was pretty shocked to see that this game went straight in at number 6 in the charts this week. Methinks GuyFromSparks lass sanpped up more than 1 copy..... I managed to get my first gold medal yesterday after I finally managed to figure out the best control methods for most of the activities. I have unlocked around 50 recipies, only 250 odd to go.

As of today the ultimate battle of wills begins... me in one corner with my Halo 3 beta, and her in the other wanting to play Wagamama Mama (as it is referred to in this house). I will win so see you there!
