Hey there's a guy playing a DS lite in the new death note.

A solid episode on the whole, oh light

Speaking of which:

Wii parodies so early in the console's life cycle? This was probably faster than when the PS2 got out.

Also, this Naruto episode was by far my favourite since the start of Shippuuden.

Not surprising, Lucky Star will parody anything that moves.

Cool though.

Thanks, only just got around to getting myself the first 5 episodes so was wondering if it was going to be a long one or not.

Always feel a bit out of my league when starting new shows which have gone on for so long already, like Bleach.

what were they thinking when they were dubbing the english opening of one piece?

"OK give me a genre for this opening"

"uh....rap"

"sure we'll go with that"

aaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!

EDIT: i just found the lyrics on a 4kids site...for your reading pleasure....

YO!

Yah-yo, yah-yo!

Dreaming!

(Don't give it up, Luffy!)

Dreaming!

(Don't give it up, Zolo!)

Dreaming!

(Don't give it up, Nami!)

Dreaming!

(Don't give it, give it up, give it up, give it up, give it up, give it-- NO!)

Here's how the story goes, we find out

‘Bout a treasure in the Grand Line, there's no doubt

The Pirate whose eye is on it, he'll sing,

"I'll be King of the Pirates, I'm gonna be King!"

Yah-yo, yah-yo, yah-yo, oh-oh!

His name is Luffy

(That's Monkey D. Luffy)

(Gonna be King of the Pirates!)

He's made of rubber

(How did that happen?)

(Yo-ho-ho, he took a bite of Gum-Gum!)

Yah-yo, yah-yo!

His name's Zolo, he's just like a samurai

And a L-A-D-Y Nami's not shy

Usopp's doing his marksman thing,

And Sanji's cooking for the would-be king!

The Pirate Crew comin' through doin' their thing

With the King of the Pirates, he's gonna be King!

Yah-yo, yah-yo, yah-yo, oh-oh!

Set sail for One Piece, it's the name of the treasure

(In the Grand Line)

Yah-yo, yah-yo

Set sail for One Piece!

honestly.....what were they thinking.

For those of you following Lucky Star...

How many episodes have been subbed so far, I think it's 7, but I'm not sure if scarywater is up to date.

Yes, and it will always be up to date. Don't need to worry.

Thought as much, though no hurt in making sure.

Oh god choices. I think I'm gonna watch either Maria-sama ga miteru, or Azumanga next.

Decisions Decisions.

Azumanga is great for hilarity and slice of life, and marimite is good for characters and tension. Read my blog if you want more impressions of marimite.

Finally watched episode 32 of Death Note. An amazing episode.

At first I thought the first half was a bit of a filler, something you didn't really need to knowbut was good to know, but the second half of it was amazing.

I just noticed that Avatar's Momo is inspired in Champloo's Momo. Sweet.
