insaner Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 The list is as follows: Altered Beast Ecco The Dolphin Columns Golden Axe Ristar Sonic the Hedgehog Toe Jam & Earl Source is from Codename Revolution (they got the info before anyone else)
Shino Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 Although those are expected, I'm doubting the source.
DiemetriX Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 http://www.esrb.org/ratings/search.jsp has the games. So it's probably true. (just search for Wii)
Gaijin von Snikbah Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 Seems realistic to me. Sonic will be downloaded asap.
BlueStar Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 Got them all on my dreamcast and PC if I want to play them. Nintendo had better hope there are people with more scruples than me for the sake of their VC service...
Aretak Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 Pretty predictable list, really. I hope some of Sega's slightly more obscure classics get a run-out too.
ViPeR Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 I'm hoping that not all games are being made available for launch. I want Streets of rage 3 damnit and i'm not falling for the same con on ebay, like most other people seem to be. £40 for a fucking Megadrive game, piss off.
ndreamer Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 a few of those games i use to own altered beast, sonic, golden axe & columns all of them where great games. hopfully we get some of the master system light gun games.
Patch Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 I'm hoping that not all games are being made available for launch. I want Streets of rage 3 damnit and i'm not falling for the same con on ebay, like most other people seem to be. £40 for a fucking Megadrive game, piss off. Nice avatar! Have you played SoR3?

zora_prime Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 Altered Beast Ecco The Dolphin Columns Golden Axe Ristar Sonic the Hedgehog Toe Jam & Earl nice for Ristar and Golden Axe, here's hoping for Shining Soul, Comix Zone and Streets of Rage. btw will there be 32X and Sega CD (add-ons for Gens) games on VC? edit: I meant Shining Force:heart:
Hero-of-Time Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 If this is true ithas made my day, Toe Jam and Earl was one of the best Megadrive games EVER! To this day I still quote it, " A BUCK! " and " wake up...wake up...WAKE UP! " Genius!
Kazzahdrane Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 If these games are nice and cheap I can see myself buying Golden Axe even though I do own the Megadrive cartrige somewhere, especially if the two-player mode is intact
Teppo Holmqvist Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 Rise from your Grave!!! Power Up! Wais fom you gwawe! Paweer Ap! Velkom to juur Doom!
Rick Dangerous Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 I want street of rage 2 and 3 too. Talking of expensive ebay games is super street fighter 2 coming out?
Bo130 Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 nice for Ristar and Golden Axe, here's hoping for Shining Soul, Comix Zone and Streets of Rage. Comix Zone would make my day!
PioRow Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 I want street of rage 2 and 3 too. Talking of expensive ebay games is super street fighter 2 coming out? I would like to see SSF2 on the VC. The xbox360 version of SF is unplayable on the pad so I am hoping that the classic pad that the wii has works well with SF. I would love to play SSF2 SNES version again, it was one of my favourites of the series.
YenRug Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 I'd like to see Shining in the Darkness make an appearance, some classic dungeon hack love.
mike-zim Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 GOLDEN AXE!!!!! woop!! i love that game. it will be my first VC game. of many i might add. a true multiplayer classic.
dukegaliz Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 The list is as follows: Altered Beast Ecco The Dolphin Columns Golden Axe Ristar Sonic the Hedgehog Toe Jam & Earl Source is from Codename Revolution (they got the info before anyone else) We need more, MORE!
Hero-of-Time Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 I'd like to see Shining in the Darkness make an appearance, some classic dungeon hack love. That game was awesome. I remember watching my brother play it when I was a kid.
knightendo Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 i never played golden axe, i think it and super mario world (which i also haven't played believe-it-or-not) will be my first games, just because i've always heard so much about them and now i can find out for sure. will be interesting to see how often they all update their lists, i'm still hoping on solstice from the NES...
Hellfire Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 The list is as follows: Altered Beast Ecco The Dolphin Columns Golden Axe Ristar Sonic the Hedgehog Toe Jam & Earl This list is pure sex. Bluestar, anyone can run things illegally, but some prefer to support these initiatives and have legal games, even if it's virtually. Not to mention that if Wii really sells to non gamers and such, they usually don't use emulators.
Patch Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 I'd like to see Shining in the Darkness make an appearance, some classic dungeon hack love. Yes indeedy. And Landstalker too while we're at it.
weeyellowbloke Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 I found my Megadrive with Golden Axe and Streets of Rage a few months ago, brilliant brilliant games. Two player is hilarious fun, although we never get to the end as we always end up fighting against each other for not sharing food and power-ups. Would love to play Altered Beast again as well, pretty good starting line up really, but a few more would be nice. Hopefully some more classic Megadrive games will appear, give me Gunstar Heroes please.
