Nolan Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 I’m not a game music person typically. There’s a lot of music I like in game but only a few songs I like to listen to outside of gaming. (Like some Nier music or Dancing Mad) This soundtrack has been a bit of a bop for me. Notables; The Whisper, Playing in the Sun, The Last Tear, The Hero but all of the songs are pretty good and most are catchy.
Julius Posted December 15, 2024 Posted December 15, 2024 Bet you'll never guess what I'm playing... Totally just stood in that room for 5 minutes. What a vibe setter; Firelink Shrine vibes, or maybe I should say Firelink Shrine has Safe Room vibes?
Julius Posted December 17, 2024 Posted December 17, 2024 (edited) Trails has managed to sneak its way into my Spotify and YouTube recommendations. There's this more emotive piece: And this absolute banger: I'm taking this as a sign from the Gaming Gods that I should probably be making the time to play a Trails game some time next year. Dcubed Posted Wednesday at 09:12 PM Posted Wednesday at 09:12 PM Secondary to the bombshell discovery that was Photo Dojo DX (a cancelled 3DS sequel to one of DSiWare's best games), it just so happens to have an absolute banger of a soundtrack! The full soundtrack (of 8 songs) from this unreleased demo can be heard here: https://www.youtube.com/@saladplainzone/videos
Cube Posted Thursday at 09:37 AM Posted Thursday at 09:37 AM Considering that their contracts regarding music mean that they fully own the music written for their games, Nintendo are one of the companies that can legally release all this unused music, for cancelled projects or ones that were made for finished games but never used. But, unfortunately, Nintendo are one of the companies that would never release this music, so it just sits in a vault for nobody to ever hear (although someone in the comments of the Stage music says it was re-used in Labo Vehicle Kit).
