BeerMonkey Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 There's already 4 pages of this discussion yet I might as well add my tuppence. I've always called it 'Knock Knock Ginger' and so the debate continues... yey im not the only one that knew it as knock knock ginger
Marshmellow Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 i still dont really know whats up with Ginger but "knock and run" sounds about right to me.
moorek Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 So whats Cherry Knocking then? Hehe, 4 pages and i find what im looking for! Ive always called it cherry knocking, i have also heard knock a door run , but never this ginger stuff! Also used to play another game called lurky, kinda like hide and seek with a base. And some crazy ass'd rule where people could "save the bunch", therefore leaving you as "it" game after game.
Mr_Odwin Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 In my home town we called it "Knicky Knocky Nine Door", but we lived near a lot of industry with fumes aplenty.
Oli1983uk Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 in the South East it is known as Knock Down ginger! and i used to play it all the time with my mates!
James Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 WTF ... Nash does mean run though. So I guess it's knock and run we used to "play"
Platty Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 Just read this thread and knock a door run WTF ? In merry old south east London its known as Knock Down Ginger. End.
mario114 Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 i still dont really know whats up with Ginger but "knock and run" sounds about right to me. Same here "knock and run" nothing more, nothing less.
