Charlie Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 Feyenood thrown out by Uefa!http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=442764&CPID=6&clid=198&lid=2&title=Feyenoord+thrown+out+by+Uefa I feel sorry for the club, the players in particular. They should just get banned from having any fans attend the games or something. It'd be so funny if it means Tottenham go out of it, although I doubt that. Why would Spurs be punished for what another club did? They will get a bye into the next round.
Noodleman Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 GRAND SLAM WEEKEND BABY!!!! There is a massive Derby this weekend after all. \o/
Max Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 Chelsea 1 - 2 liverpool Iraq 2 - 0 Bahrain Arsenal 1 - 1 man utd
Fierce_LiNk Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 Predictions, baby! Liverpool 1 - 3 Chelsea Aston Villa 1 - 1 Watford Fulham 0 - 2 Tottenham Middlesbro 2 - 3 Bolton Newcastle 2 - 0 West Ham Portsmouth 2 - 0 Charlton Reading 1 - 1 Sheff Utd Man City 0 - 0 Blackburn Arsenal 0 - 2 Manchester United Wigan 1 - 2 Everton
Ramar Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 Its either going to be a draw at the Emirates or Arsenal will sneak it 2-1. Henry looks like he's hungry, Flaminator looks set to start. I all I hope for is a decent fair game. Recently Arsenal vs Man Utd has been shitty games often won by shit decisions (Rooney's dive that ruined our unbeaten run?! fo example). Just a fair clean game, that both sides can be proud of playing.
Stocka Posted January 20, 2007 Author Posted January 20, 2007 I have the feeling that it's going to be a classic. I predict a last minute winner, or a big turn around.
BlueStar Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 I have a feeling that, as usual when Sky build up a load of American style hype for GRAND SLAM SUPER SOCCER MEGA WEEKEND TV DAY, the matches will be shit. Have to give my ticket away today cos I've got work

PENNANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what a goal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Max Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 yeah, it looks like liverpool have put chelsea to a stop!
Atomic Boo Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 yeah, it looks like liverpool have put chelsea to a stop! hang on, Liverpool have gone into a bit of a defensive mode so Chelsea are pressing a bit more, but still, they havent had a clean cut chance yet. Wow! Rise struck it from really far back and it almost went in. That would have been a contender for goal of the season!
Max Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 hang on, Liverpool have gone into a bit of a defensive mode so Chelsea are pressing a bit more, but still, they havent had a clean cut chance yet. they hardly create clear cut chances, depend on long shots/deflections to get goals.
Platty Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 I have a bet on today that liverpool will win 2-1 Need chelsea to just nick one then I will win some moneys.
Max Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 I have a bet on today that liverpool will win 2-1 Need chelsea to just nick one then I will win some moneys. finished 2-0
Fierce_LiNk Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 I don't believe it. I turned on Radio Five Live, to find the score at 2-0....To Liverpool! Ahhhh! I wonder how we'll (Man Utd) will respond. Surely we have to go for the win tomorrow against Arsenal. Potential 9 points clearance!
Fierce_LiNk Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 I've been seriously impressed with Kuyt this year. When he came into the Liverpool squad, I was thinking "yeah, he'll score a few and then drop off." But, his work-rate, his teamwork, the way he always wants to score...I have to say, I think he's one of the best strikers in the league, at the moment.
Cube Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 Watched the Chelsea/Liverpool match...first football game I've ever enjoyed. I must say...that Chelsea free kick was the best one ever.
Max Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 Watched the Chelsea/Liverpool match...first football game I've ever enjoyed. I must say...that Chelsea free kick was the best one ever. i think drogba was meant to fool everyone in the liverpool team into looking at whatever he was pointing at, i guess ballack bought it. hahaha
Fields Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 Only five points behind Chelsea now. If Arsenal win tomorrow, we'll only be 11 behind the Mancs. Beat them at Anfield and the gap is only 8... We can still win the league, you know!
Colin Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 So it's now a 3 horse race imo. I expected Liverpool to win against Chelsea today. Great game. Looking forward to tomorrows fixture now. Congrats to Charlton as well.
My Buttons are Magic! Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 .... happy boyfriend tonight.... now that liverpool won... would not be looking forward to later if they lost... ( tho now im being forced to watch the highlights ... damn)
BlueStar Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 OK, is there anyone on this board who supports Arsenal, Liverpool, Man U or Chelsea and actually lives in commuting distance to their ground? :P
