Max Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Rooney should have taken it. Aw well, it's done now. Well done, Celtic. We'll need to get something from the Benfica game. I can see us winning it, and we can still definitely qualify. ronaldo went up to him just before he took it and gave him a word, and he still went on to miss. everyone thought we would beat befica last year round and what happene?... still think we should have bagged it against copenhagen and fergi screwed up in that match. saha screwed up this match. who will screw up the next match?
Eddage Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Personally I think Ferguson should give Smith a chance, now that he is back from his injury he should be given an opportunity! I just get annoyed that Saha needs about 5 chances in every game before he scores a goal!
Babooo Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Great result for us gooners!!!!!! Made even better by United losing tonight!!!
Fierce_LiNk Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Great result for us gooners!!!!!! Made even better by United losing tonight!!! Yeah, well we bluddy love it when you lose, too. Bluddy Arsenal fans.

Ramar Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Well chuffed The Beast scored, especially after most of the papers gave him 4/10 against Newcastle, when to be fair he wasn't that bad at all.
Babooo Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Well chuffed The Beast scored, especially after most of the papers gave him 4/10 against Newcastle, when to be fair he wasn't that bad at all. Mate you don't know how happy I was when he scored.....me and my sister just looked at each other, shouting "THE BEAST!!!!!". Theo was awesome....I really do hope we see more of him this season....as well as the beast.
Ramar Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Theo was awesome....I really do hope we see more of him this season....as well as the beast. Last two games I've been to The Emirates I've put a couple of quid on Theo to score last, I'll keep doing it until he does.
Max Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Last two games I've been to The Emirates I've put a couple of quid on Theo to score last, I'll keep doing it until he does. you must be rich
Stocka Posted November 21, 2006 Author Posted November 21, 2006 Yeah I was so happy also when Baptista scored, and Theo was wonderful! He made such a impact when he came on, assisting both goals.
Charlie Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 What a result. I knew Saha would miss that penalty as soon as he stepped up too. If the other teams in the group had drawn both Celtic and Man Utd would've gone through, its wide open now.
gmac Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 well it doesn't matter for me, cause Celtic are through since we scored two goals at old trafford, both Benfica and Man U can't pass us http://www.uefa.com/competitions/UCL/FixturesResults/Round=2357/match=1116388/Report=RP.html
Ramar Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 you must be rich Will be once it pays off. :P
weeyellowbloke Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 well it doesn't matter for me, cause Celtic are through since we scored two goals at old trafford, both Benfica and Man U can't pass us http://www.uefa.com/competitions/UCL/FixturesResults/Round=2357/match=1116388/Report=RP.html I thought we just had to not lose (i.e. get a draw). Oh well I'm not complaining.

darksnowman Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 Liverpool are winning and shouldnt throw it away as home form is the only real positive about this season. Come on you Reds! Im not sure what I want to happen in The Big One tomorrow. A victory for Utd/ Chelsea? Or a draw? I dunno, Liverpool arent gonna win the title, but it would be cool if Arsenal could sneak it bwahaha!
