Platty Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 I wish i could volley like Riise... I can, but with my right foot.
Happenstance Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 Brilliant win again for Liverpool. PSV really were awful, so many mistakes.
Atomic Boo Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 All three Liverpool goals were fantastic. Good game, PSV try they might, just couldnt break down the defense. I guess they're as good as in the semi-final already. Kuyt got his yellow card, id have laughed if he got red! You could see that he was joking about it with Gerrard, because that now means he misses the next CL game which isnt important, but he gets a clean slate for the other games.
Goron_3 Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 Awesome display from Liverpool. They were absolutely fantastic and fully deserved to win 3-0.
Fresh Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 I can, but with my right foot. Then its not like Riise is it. Next.....
Colin Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 Berluddy hell. It's already gone tits up for both Chelsea and Man U. Nice one Scholes.
nekunando Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 1-0 Roma.. 1-0 Valencia.. Not going well for the English clubs so far.. not tonight anyway EDIT: ...and now there's fighting amongst the supporters in Rome..
Guest Stefkov Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 Agh totally forgot United were playing tonight. Scholes you silly man, those Iti's will take stuf like that and milk it for all its worth.
|Laguna| Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 Wow, since Arsenal went out of the Champions League I've totally lost track of the competition. I can't believe it's on now, thankfully this thread reminded me. Yay. *pats thread on head* Edit: Roma are winning and Chelsea are drawing at home!! Wow. Champions League rocks. F'only Arsenal were in it still
Guest Stefkov Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 Rooney you fucking beaut. What a play.....I'm speechless. 1-1 now...YES
Colin Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 Fuck yes. Silky run by Ronaldo and a pin point cross to Rooney to put it in the back of the net. Hopefully it'll either stay this way or some how get another away goal.
Platty Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 Ronaldo was amazing there. Great run and great ball to Solskjaer who then pulled off a great cross to Rooney who showed brilliant composure to chest it down rather than head it and calmly placed it into the back of the net. But what was better was old man Fergies celebration. Love it. Edit: Bollocks.
Guest Stefkov Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 AGH fuck you Roma. 2-1... Van der sar what are you doing..!?!
Colin Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 Oh well. Van der Sar should of coped with that. Watching it on ESPN internet tv, which is Sky Sports as far as I know.
Guest Stefkov Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 Sky Sports? Yessum..sky sports 1 come on united, another break from a crap free kick is all you need. United are getting their arses kicked on those crosses from the wing. I understand that an away goal is good for United and that 2-1 is les on aggragate. But is that the reason they wanted to the time to run out?
Colin Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 I understand that an away goal is good for United and that 2-1 is les on aggragate. But is that the reason they wanted to the time to run out? Makes sense I think. Roma should of scored more, but now they've just gone and made it harder for themselves next week I feel. Roma deserved the win though.
Kav Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 Hmmm, we drew... to a fantastic goal by Sliva... git! At least we played well and I'd say deserved a second! I've heard United were really poor... not like them at all!!!

I've heard United were really poor... not like them at all!!! Missing a lot of first team defensive players, reduced to 10 men from midway through first half, and come away with a 2-1 result and then to play at home next week. Wouldn't consider that a poor performance. Chelsea couldn't of been that much better getting a 1-1 at home.
Fresh Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 2-1, not a bad score, could have been a lot worse. Gives us a good chance in the next leg. Shame about Scholes though.
