People ended up finding so many bugs and glitches in HRC on Melee it was a joke.

 

Online against strangers this wouldn't even be fun.

 

That's my one fear with the whole game, like what happened with MKDS and Strikers. They're not "glitches", they're just soul destroying tricks and "tactics" that can only be mastered by people willing to dedicate their lives to sucking the very essence of fun out of the fabrics of the universe.

For online that's the case. For multiplayer, it's a much greater amount of depth as noone abuses those tactics. I'd prefer that they stay - multiplayer is more important than battling against random people online.

Nice addition! 2 player sandbag smashing will add a lot more strategy than just 1 player.

 

The japanese site has slightly different pictures and have meters instead of ft, but then why didn't the UK site get the meters pictures too?

 

They probably haven't even started a European version, translating and stuff I mean. Hence we always get the same pictures as the US site.

We think the same way

Mario kart on the DS was ruined by snakers online... yeah its cool if you can do it but theres no chance of winning if you play it normaly against a damm dirty snaker.

snaking is a skill that non snakers can't o you ake it sound like a bad thing:wtf:

Yay, loved HRC. What was everyone's highest scores? Mine was just over 1000m with Ganon.

 

I got 1667.1 m with Ganondorf last weekend. That was about 5 meters higher than my previous record. I've been trying to get it past 2000, but it's really difficult because I can't pull off the Reverse Warlock Punch right. I can do the bat drops though, it's just that last part that's giving me trouble.

The same happened to poor old Spyro too and whoever owned him, poor bastard.

 

It really is sad what happened to those franchises. Crash and Spyro were a blast to play.

 

 

Anyway, the Home-Run contest is back, it's new and improved.:grin:

 

The Co-Op is nice, but I don't think I'll spend much time in it.

I was replaying Fire Emblem 6 a while ago, and I realized how awesome the music from that game is. I surely wish they bring music from that game.

FE 6 already had rep in melee (Roy), but I wouldn't mind seeing Roy replaced by those musics.

 

Still, what Fire Emblem music would you FE fans love to see in Brawl? That series didn't have much discussion in the music department.

 

For me:

 

-With Us! (FE9)

-Vow / Knight's Oath (FE9/FE7. Same music.)

-Black Fang theme (FE7)

-Inescapable Fate (FE7)

-Together we Ride (the same music in melee)

-Against the Black Knight (FE9) (this one would be cool for a boss fight)

-To Challenge Ashnard (FE9)

-Everything into the Dark (FE7)

-Rise Above (FE8)

-Determination (FE8)

-Truth, Despair and Hope (FE8)

-Comrades (FE8)

-Beneath a new Light (FE6)

-Suspicion (FE6)

-At the Final "Dragon" (FE6)

-Shaman in the dark (FE6)

-Other great musics from FE6's soundtrack (too many to count):wink:

What is a bat drop!?

 

lol i'm a n00b at the game... :)

 

It's where you drop the bat in mid air onto the sandbag and then use a move on the sandbag (mostly characters down air attacks). This means the bat will hit the bag BUT because you hit it with another move straight after, the bag will barely move.

How do you use it effectively? :)

 

You could start practising using a double jump then drop the bat then use the attack. Then get the bat as it falls and do it again. After practise you can start doing it with a single jump, then catching the bat in mid-air, then L-Cancelling and Fastfalling. You have to do it in steps, if you try to do it all in one go it can be a bit overwhelming, at least it was for me.

Rise above is awesome. And the only song which title I remember^^' But to get in, doesn't it need a character from the game to be in Brawl?
