Posted October 24, 2007 The games I've pre-ordered from Play.com in the past have almost always arrived with me the following Wednesday. That's why I don't use them for game pre-orders. I've read plenty of comments online from people who usually receive them the day before release though, so it might depend on where you live. On the other hand, I often get DVD's from Play.com on the Saturday, two days before their release. So I use them for DVD pre-orders. Posted October 25, 2007 Just did the opening section, talk about cinematic! They really went all out on this one. Loving the controls too, literally picked them up instantaneously. It's a bit weird during the interaction parts though how you use the remote to control Samus's left arm, perhaps they should've done a Twilight Princess and put the arm cannon on her left hand. Oh - but then it'd be the wrong way around for shooting, er yeah... on second thoughts. Can't wait to get further in to the game. *EDIT* Did anyone else with the latest firmware have to do an update before playing this for the first time? Posted October 25, 2007 Just a brief break. Yep , had to also do the update. Played through the opening section and just beat the 1st boss. Red Shell's description of cinematic is spot on. Controls feel fantastic , although I did initially have a couple of problems with the scan visor. Liking the extras and Wii Connect implementation. I won't say anything else about the game (don't want to spoil anything for anyone) , but I can say that initially this seems more than worth the wait.
