Tellyn Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 300 I can't believe it's not Sparta. 9 out of 10 Spartans
Zell Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 Matilda. I just freaking love this film, used to watch it loads when I was little! So it brings back memories =] I love the songs in it too, real feel good stuff =] 8/10 Don't you love the irony in making a film version of Matilda? Still, pretty decent, even if [CLICHE] it's not as good as the book. [/CLICHE]
ReZourceman Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 9 out of 10 Spartans said that it made their hair more shiny and bold!
Slaggis Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 Jarhead Another great movie. Some very funny moments thorughout, especially the bit with the sausages which was awesome. Well acted; Gyllenhaal and Fox were great and the story was pretty good too. The ending worked well, though it just ended a little too..quickly for me tbh. Other than that, it was a great movie, recommended. 8.9/10
Portlett Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 Watched the film Kids the other day, awesome film. Very shocking but powerful film. probably a 9/10

Slaggis Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 Watch Full Metal Jacket and then review your Jarhead score. I feel like I should feel ashamed for not knowing this..but what's Full metal Jacket? I know it's a movie, but thats about it.
Slaggis Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 Its the film Jarhead wishes it was. I'll try and catch it, my friend says he has a copy of it so I'll watch it sometime. I don't usually like war movies, bar Saving Private Ryan and Jarhead I only watched because I knew Jake Gyllenhaal was in it...is Full Metal Jacket eally that great?
Dan_Dare Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 it's awesome. Jarhead is a bit of an Homage to it, but i reckon it's a good movie in its own right and certianly worth seeing for some fucking beautiful direction from Mendez
The Bard Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 For the most part, yeah, it's ace. Not to say that Jarhead was bad or anything. Was good actually.
Slaggis Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 Alright, I'll watch it then, sounds like it might be good. I want to catch Beowulf this weekend aswell if I can. Edit: just read some of the plot on wiki, it sounds great!
AnOrdinaryBoy Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 21 Grams - 7/10 Anyone else get the feeling they only re-arranged the narrative's chronology so much was to make a fairly uninspired story more interesting? Still, well directed and VERY well acted.
triforcemario Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 (Thats two tens in two days...I better start watching some shitty movies quick)Watch "You Got Served" then. It's so awful, I wanted to poke my eyeballs out using cocktail sticks covered in bleach and blue cheese.
Slaggis Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 Watch "You Got Served" then. It's so awful, I wanted to poke my eyeballs out using cocktail sticks covered in bleach and blue cheese. Watched it and did that already. That movie sucked some major balls.
triforcemario Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 Watched it and did that already. That movie sucked some major balls.Try watching Son Of The Mask, Catwoman and anything with the name "Bratz" attached to it then for the definition of torture.

Watched, watched and I'd rather have my balls stuck in a vice. (I'd say son of the mask is one of the worst movies I've seen in my entire life)

Paj! Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 I liked Catwoman. It's funny (in the way where it's meant to be serious). Saw Bratz (NOT MY CHOICE BEFORE YOU ASK), and it's exagerated, it's badness. It's like a 3/10 or something. (Bearing in mind that Transformers is 5/10)

Tranformers only 2 points above a brats movie? Even if you didn't like it, surely you didn't think it was that bad?
Paj! Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 5/10 isn't bad. I fell asleep during the final fight scene. I don't find boring robots fighting for no reason I could understand interesting. Then again, Bratz had like no story, but it was so loud I stayed awake. 7/10 is a solid good, enjoyable film for me. I didn't enjoy Transfomers, so 5. It wasn't actualy a bad movie, however.
