EDIT: in just confirming platforms it seems like this is going to be current gen only, i.e. PS5 and Series X|S, going off the descriptions for the trailers for other platforms. I think this happened with a good number of announcements the other day at Gamescom ONL too...has current gen finally arrived? It feels like they're just stonewalling last gen consoles for the sake of it, because these ports and some of these other games could absolutely run on last gen consoles. Edited August 27 by Julius

Hero-of-Time Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Yeah, looks it. Easy list though. Basically just need to play through the games and no need for collecting all the spirits/souls etc.
Dcubed Posted August 27 Posted August 27 (edited) Haunted Castle is a hilarious inclusion. That game is so unbelievably shit that it's shocking that it was ever released. It's easily one of the worst games I've ever played. Massively interested in seeing how this remake turns out. It's so rare that a game developer/publisher ever bothers to attempt to remake a bad game, so I'm really interested in seeing if anything of value can be salvaged from this tirefire of a game! Cube Posted August 29 Posted August 29 The Castlevania DS re-releases aren't known for the best box art. 3
Dcubed Posted September 23 Posted September 23 So I’m playing Haunted Castle Revisited in the Castlevania Dominus Collection and… … I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m actually having fun! I think M2 may well have actually done the impossible here. They took one of the absolute worst games ever made and have actually made something fun out of it!! I don’t think it’s as good as their previous series attempt (Castlevania: The Adventure Rebirth), which was a similar total re-imagining of a maligned Castlevania game that might as well be a brand new game, but this is far more impressive because Haunted Castle is such an absolute travesty dung heap that it’s incredible that they’ve managed to get anything worthwhile out of the source material!!
