I'm having a hard Time getting any new legendaries. It could be worth a shot. Maybe the raid hours on a Wednesday would be best time to organise anything. Random raids in the middle of the day may be hard to organise.
Mandalore Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 I do most of my raids through a local group on Facebook. Worth doing a search and seeing if you have any similar, I think it'd be very difficult to organise raids on this forum. Alternatively, I see quite a lot of people recommending an app called PokeRaid.

MindFreak Posted August 6, 2021 Posted August 6, 2021 Heracross is now in 3* Raids globally and by that, I have now got all Johto Pokémon as well! Wuu! I'm missing a few in Hoenn, though. Torrkoal and Relicanth in particular (and of course Kecleon who isn't released yet).

I have Relicanth, if only they’d let us trade globally. You’d have one of mine. 1

MindFreak Posted August 26, 2021 Posted August 26, 2021 (edited) Niantic keeps the extended interaction radius! That's great news! Edited August 26, 2021 by MindFreak 1
BowserBasher Posted August 26, 2021 Posted August 26, 2021 It is. There was a really huge backlash over it that caused all this. Personally I wouldn’t have cared either way. It seemed a lot of the complaints I heard were just people moaning cause they had to cross a road just to get the stop. I know some stops where a little more inaccessible due to the smaller range and for those that’s good.
WackerJr Posted August 28, 2021 Posted August 28, 2021 Niantic made a lot of positive changes as a result of the pandemic. I’m with the majority that it’s too soon to lose most of these positive changes with the number of cases across all countries still high. It’s good to see them listening to feedback and backtracking on this change, although it doesn't affect me too much either, as the restrictions don’t prevent me from heading outside!
Cube Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Big news for Pokémon Go, as Niantic and its games have been sold to Scopely. I've encountered one of their games via my Star Trek plays and it was the worst one of the lot, as it had almost no gameplay and fancy menus to hide how simple it is, and loads of predatory ways to "encourage" large microtransactions. Oh, and Scopely themselves are Savvy Games Group, who are part of the Saudi Arabia government. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/business/digital/pokemon-go-studio-niantic-sold-scopely-1236161480/ 1

I gave up on the game some years ago now. I loved it, it got me out and about and I made a load of friends from it. Then they slowly put Pokemon behind paywalls, just one here and there and passed it off as events and charged like £4.99 or something. Then they started changing things that were free to be less in the players favour. Next thing you know, most new events are paywalled. I bet Kecleon still isn’t even in it yet. I had actually paid to go to the Go Fest that was going to be held here, I think it was up north , in 2020, but Covid hit and that was cancelled. A few years later and so much was pay for this, pay for that and it was just not fun anymore.
