RedShell Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Yeah, "a certain familiar character from the Zelda series"... The only familiar characters I can think of are Tingle and the Postman: All of the other familiar characters are already playable in Hyrule Warriors, unless... Now that really would make me say wow. Would also be incredibly amusing due to confusion over the names since the very first game. But are the developers crazy enough to do it? Maybe.
Glen-i Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 (edited) Personally, I would have picked Telma. Not even Link can resist having a peek. EDIT: Actually, I just remembered another character I'd rather have! SECOND EDIT: OH! What if the costume is based off him? That'd be cool. Probably not though. I'm still cool with 5-minute of screen time Midna though. Edited November 18, 2014 by Glen-i
Agent Gibbs Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 I'm surprised they haven't done an Agahnim skin for Wizzro Familiar characters? Postman - Letter Bomb weapons, Swings that banner?, happy mask salesman - uses masks, Malon - Singing? Talon - Cows? , Tingle -Magic .... can't really think of any more recurring ones that would be candidates

Talon - Cows? , Tingle -Magic .... can't really think of any more recurring ones that would be candidates It's only a costume, it's not gonna give any new weapons. I'd be very surprised if the Spinner wasn't one of the weapons featured in this pack, considering it's one of the more memorable TP items. Then again, they made the Twilight Mirror a weapon, so who knows?
Cube Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 I'd be very surprised if the Spinner wasn't one of the weapons featured in this pack, considering it's one of the more memorable TP items.? The Spinner is in the game. It's unlocked with the Link Amiibo
Glen-i Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 The Spinner is in the game. It's unlocked with the Link Amiibo Yeah, I saw the direct. What I meant was if it was exclusive to Amiibo or not. I'm fully expecting it to not be.
Hogge Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Great! Not only is true form Midna better looking, she makes more sense. I always felt that this is the way she should've looked in HW from the start.
Wii Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 The second DLC pack for Hyrule Warriors will be available on 11/27! In this pack, you’ll get Twili Midna as a playable character, a new weapon for Zelda, a Twilight Princess themed Adventure Mode map, and two additional costumes including the Postman costume for Link!
Hero-of-Time Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 @RedShell was right! : peace: Yeah, "a certain familiar character from the Zelda series"...The only familiar characters I can think of are Tingle and the Postman:
Glen-i Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 DOMINION ROD!? DOMINION ROD! TAKE ALL MY MONEY! Oh wait, they already have... Great! I feel stupid for not thinking of the Dominion Rod. And hooray for more weapons for Zelda! Link is getting too many anyway. That adventure map makes me very excite. Lots of silly new items to use! Pretty much confirrms that the Spinner is Amiibo exclusive though. There aren't enough weapon icons. 2 for 5 minutes of screen time Midna's weapon upgrades. 2 for Zelda's Dominion Rod upgrades 1 for Ganny's keys And one more mystery one. No sign of any bronze weapon icons either, which is where brand new weapons normally are. Costumes are great as well! Are... Are they both for Link? I literally can't tell if that's Link or Zelda sporting the Ilia (Is that her name?) clothes. Damn you and your feminine looks, Link! 10 outta 10 for awesome! (It's sad that I'm more excited for this then Omega Ruby.)
Agent Gibbs Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 this is the gift that keeps on giving! this game is ridiculous value for money

Hogge Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 I like that they included Twili Midna, but is it just me, or is she significantly... augmented?
Wii Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 (edited) I like that they included Twili Midna, but is it just me, or is she significantly... augmented? I don't know I think it's fairly true to the Twilight Princess version. If you're talking about her breasts then maybe they're slightly bigger. You know what is changed though? The Mirror Of Twilight. It's a lot smaller than it was in Twilight Princess. And that Postman Link is downright creepy. Edited November 21, 2014 by Wii Automerged Doublepost

Hero-of-Time Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 Twilight DLC Trailer A guy scanned his Mario Amiibo in and got this amazing reward.
dazzybee Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 Oh god, I was hoping the amiibo would be really generous. If that really is the level of reward who will really be bothered to do it..?
RedShell Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 A guy scanned his Mario Amiibo in and got this amazing reward. That is hilarious.
dazzybee Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 Also there's a cap on 5 amiibo a day... oh boy. What sounded like amazing Amiibo use is turning into awful amiibo use... Anyone got anything actually good from using amiibo?
Glen-i Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 A guy scanned his Mario Amiibo in and got this amazing reward. Don't spend it all in one place!
