- South Miami man gets into an argument with his wife

- He is said to have gone upstairs to the bedroom where he took a gun out of the closet before going back down to his wife.

- Pointed gun at wife who is then said to "have brandished a knife from the kitchen".

- Man "manages to disarm his wife", who then "begins to punch, kick and scream at him" before he shoots her, killing her.

- Man posts the following on facebook:

"I’m going to prison or death sentence for killing my wife. Love you guys. Miss you guys. Take care. Facebook people you’ll see me in the news."

He posted a photo of her dead body along with that post. It was up for hours before it was taken down by Facebook, after being asked by the authorities.

His wife's 10 year old daughter from a previous relationship was upstairs during the time of the killing, but no harm is said to have come of her.

The pictures are on the following link, which is the source: Miami Herald

This was perhaps my comment, similar to @MoogleViper there's so much that happens in the world these days, like this, that I just don't find it all that surprising.

As the internet is so popular now, its so easy to find images without the censoring. It's saddening yes, massively so that a woman was killed and her body posted to Facebook for her family and friends to find. But its not surprising in the least that someone is posting about committing a crime on there, it happens way too often.

THe worst part of it is the photo. It's really disturbing that he actually posted a photo of her dead body to all his (and her?) friends instead of just calling the police right away.

I'm sort of with Moogle on this too.

For the most part, he actually seems remorseful. Yeah it's a bit of a bizarre thing to do when you've just killed your wife but let's all remember that you've just killed your wife, I don't imagine people are in their best mind at such a time.

Disturbingly, I don't find the killing or the reasons for the killing her that disturbing; as you all said, it happens all the time and it's terrible but hardly something that makes the news these days, and he seems remorseful as Rummy said.

I just can't help but think of all the friends of him and her, logging on Facebook while eating breakfast and seeing that... It's mainly because of the photo; had it just been a status update it might not have been too much. (Well, I just don't like seeing photos of real dead people.)
