Charlie Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 Take off De Gea in the 70th minute and bring on Giggs, put Van Persie in goal and Giggs on the right of central defence with Phil Jones playing the holding role whilst Carrick goes up front. Actually Van Persie is a pretty accomplished goalkeeper.
Fierce_LiNk Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 Actually Van Persie is a pretty accomplished goalkeeper. You're thinking of Thierry Henry, brah.
Ramar Posted October 21, 2013 Author Posted October 21, 2013 You're thinking of Thierry Henry, brah. Hail to The King!
Charlie Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 You're thinking of Thierry Henry, brah. Nope - I did my research!
Ellmeister Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 Did someone post Boruc's goal against Sczesny other day? Chelsea to put in 53m bid for him to fill their striker position in January.
Fierce_LiNk Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Nope - I did my research! I can't count that, tbh. Unless he's actually come on and been used as a keeper, ala Super John O'Shea, then it don't count. Important game for us in the Champions League tomorrow. We need a big performance from the team and manager. As much as I'm disliking some of Moyes' decisions, I still hope and think that he'll come good in the end. Cmaaaaan. Massssive game tonight, Arsenal vs. Dortmund. Footballllllllll.
Murr Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Been reading some of the snippets of Fergie's autobiography on BBC Sports. Wow, that'll be some read. Being added to the Christmas list for sure.
-Dem0- Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Tight match for the most part but Arsenal were the better of the two (not by much), more so in the second half. Dortmund did well to finish their two real chances.
Emerald Emblem Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 We were so unlucky tonight, didn't deserve to lose the game. Sucker punched late on when we were in control.
Ellmeister Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 From commentator talk at the end, sounded like Arsenal didnt really create much themselves though?
Emerald Emblem Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 From commentator talk at the end, sounded like Arsenal didnt really create much themselves though? I didn't say we deserved to win. The 1-1 would have been a fair result.
Jon Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 (edited) If any team deserved the win, we did but a draw was probably the fairest result. Lewandowski was lucky to stay on the field, props to Bosscielny for not collapsing to the floor. That said, poor defending for the final goal, no excuse for that. Chezzers didn't have much to do but pick the ball out of the net. Can't believe Hummels cleared the Rosicky volley off the line, you don't normally see CB's standing on the line with a volley from that far out. Edited October 22, 2013 by Jon
Ramar Posted October 23, 2013 Author Posted October 23, 2013 We got schooled on the counter. Naive performance late on, went gung-ho for the win when we didn't have to. However, Dortmund aren't any better than us and we could have got something. Which is a positive to take to their place.
Ramar Posted October 26, 2013 Author Posted October 26, 2013 Best player in the league, without question. Piss off Solda... nope couldn't keep a straight face.
Jon Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Best player in the league, without question. Good to see him enjoying his final season at the club
Fierce_LiNk Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 We played really poorly today and I honestly couldn't see us winning it when we went 2-1 down. Credit to Moyes because the substitutions changed the game. Can't believe how little we created with Nani, Rooney, Van Persie, Kagawa, Carrick and Cleverley all on the pitch. Cleverley in particular was quite bad. He needs to start coming up with the big performances or else he'll lose his place to Fellaini. Januzaj looked bright again when he came on, as did Hernandez.

Yeah because Fellaini has looked great for you guys so far :p Rooney is still looking in great form a least.
-Dem0- Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 That was an impressive hat-trick from Suarez, the first two goals were both fantastic. Special player.

Blade Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 Mourinho, most entertaining manager to have ever graced the Premiership.
Jon Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 Has anyone seen Dazzy? hope he's not been abducted by a gypsy family.
Ellmeister Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 A very gritty and professional performance today. Wasn't confident given our recent record against them but I think we deserved the win even if it was from a howler in the end. I believe that was Hart's fault. Personally rate Natasic highly.
Fierce_LiNk Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 Yeah because Fellaini has looked great for you guys so far :p Rooney is still looking in great form a least. He's taking a while to get into the swing of things, but he'll get there in the end. I think he's got a bit of stage fright at the moment. Another Soldado penalty, another 1-0 for Spurs. Seems like they're taking their time to gel, too. City are also only 2 points ahead of us.
