I have got some of the hard trophies on it and I do love the game, but yeah.... apparently only 0.48% have the Nuclear Throne plat. I usually try to platinum every game I play but I do get like that with some games. The Yakuza series is one that I adore but I've only got the platinum in 6&7. I didn't even attempt to Platinum 0-5 due to the crazy amount of stuff that needs to be done. This month I started Dark Souls 2 and have been slowly picking away at it ( just reached Fume Knight yesterday evening ). Although I've been loving the game I'm not sure I'll Platinum it due to the fact I'll need to go through it another two times. Speaking of DS2, I fail to see why the game gets heavily criticised. It's been great fun and I've been enjoying it immensely.

Haven't played it myself, but I think I remember reading that a lot of areas added in expansions are rather annoying.

I read though the DS2 topic on here the other day and it seemed like you were enjoying the game but then fell off it.

Quote The game has got me hooked again. To be honest, I don't really remember if I finished it...it's been 6 years. But I just checked my trophies and it looks like I did reach the end. Reading through the thread I think I was just annoyed by a weird bug which has been fixed so I probably enjoyed it in the end. Edited March 19, 2021 by drahkon 1

Sheikah Posted April 20, 2021 Posted April 20, 2021 Great stuff. It's the complete edition too, I never had the DLC so will be nice to play it.
Happenstance Posted April 20, 2021 Posted April 20, 2021 I've tried twice now with Horizon and never managed to get into it. Always feels like one of those games that I should like and deserves another shot so I might give the complete edition a go one last time.
Hero-of-Time Posted April 28, 2021 Posted April 28, 2021 Quote PlayStation 4 is now the console which has sold the most games in video game history, with at least 1.577B games sold Surpassing PS2's 1.537B games sold, previous record holder. That's a crazy amount of software sold! I've certainly done my part to help raise that number. 3
dwarf Posted April 28, 2021 Posted April 28, 2021 Was terribly bored this evening and realised I hadn't played anything in a while. Decided that I might like to try out the Hitman games. As it turns out, one doesn't simply try out the Hitman games. Figuring out what entry to buy, alongside which DLC, in order to get a reasonable price for the main content... I honestly just gave up. I feel like I'd sooner hack into MI5 with a Nokia N-Gage. IO Interactive, if you're listening - you can get in the bin. You'd have my trilla if you weren't such bastards about this whole affair. Ye just don't deserve it, DO YEE!? 2
drahkon Posted April 29, 2021 Posted April 29, 2021 That stat is just crazy. Especially when you really think about the PS2 games' sales...1.5 billion physical games have been sold back then

I'm still expecting the Switch to eventually dethrone it though. 2
drahkon Posted May 11, 2021 Posted May 11, 2021 (edited) No idea why and no idea if it's available anywhere else, but Valkyria Revolution is currently free on the PSN store in Germany. Edit: All the DLC is free, as well. Edited May 11, 2021 by drahkon 2 2

Hero-of-Time Posted May 15, 2021 Posted May 15, 2021 Looks like Hades will be arriving on PS platforms soon. The game has been rated for the PS4 over in Korea. 1
drahkon Posted May 15, 2021 Posted May 15, 2021 "Now upgrade funny" Anyways, good news. Will definitely double dip eventually.
drahkon Posted May 18, 2021 Posted May 18, 2021 Anybody here played Pillars of Eternity on PS4 (or PS5)? I've been interested in it for quite a while now. I could afford it right now as it's on sale for 10 bucks. I hear there are some pretty long loading times and occasional crashes. I could deal with those if the game is great, though.
Hero-of-Time Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 Looks like GT7 and the next God of War are also coming to PS4. Quote Where it makes sense to develop a title for both PS4 and PS5 — for Horizon Forbidden West, the next God of War, GT7 — we’ll continue looking at that. And if PS4 owners want to play that game, then they can. If they want to go on and play the PS5 version, that game will be there for them. Sony continue to give me little reason to upgrade to the PS5. 2 2

Sony continue to give me little reason to upgrade to the PS5. Yeah, unfortunately it delays the PS5 kicking into high gear. For God of War in particular it makes me wonder if they're having to keep the Bifrost to travel between realms? If I'm remembering right those paths were something they needed to facilitate the limitations of developing for the PS4 and we're probably planning a different and faster method originally, so I guess like flying mounts in Forbidden West, it's probably not happening this time around? For God of War and Horizon I know Hulst mentioned in the Q&A that they're being affected by limited access to performance capture studios and the cast, and the PS5 is straggling well behind their initial estimates due to the impacts of COVID on production. Purely from a business perspective, taking out the actual impacts on the creative process which may result in a delay, I think it's a matter of them balancing the books (or more realistically boosting their profits). If they were internally forecasting some 25 - 30 million PS5's to be in the wild for the launch of the next God of War, Gran Turismo, etc., and were forecasting potential unit sales for each game from that, I think they probably realised that they had to do it. I don't think Sony ever said the next God of War would be exclusive, but I'm pretty sure they did say that GT7 would be (even looking at the game's page on the official site it only mentions the PS5), so now my question is whether or not Final Fantasy XVI will still remain a PS5 exclusive, because I have to imagine those conversations are happening with Square Enix behind the scenes. Such a weird time. I know we were expecting a transitional period anyways, but still! 1
