Marcamillian Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 All this supposin' ain' do no good t' n'one. All them hollerin for people to speak up ain't give nothin more 'emselves. You wan trust ya gotta give a lil summin for em to chew on. Ain none speak for free. Five-0 otta bring the green.
Sheikah Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 So at least 3 people targeted me last night... Did you reach your target @Nintendohnut?
Marcamillian Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 I ain't got none mo to give than wha I said. Just think on it tho.
Sheikah Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 So now we need to know whether Diageo also targeted Sheikah, or whether he went for someone else who couldn't be targeted for another reason. NB -I would prefer not to know who he targeted if it isn't me. Assuming there is one protector out there, he might be outing him if he named him.
Nintendohnut Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 To be honest the way he asked suggests that he was randomly redirector, or just doesnt choose his own targets. But yeah, I wasn't saying he should definitely reveal his target, just that it would be good to know whether he is referring to you or someone else he couldn't target.
Diageo Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 I got to my target fine. I don't know how you got what you're getting from what I said. I just wanted to know why Cube couldn't reach his target.
Sheikah Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Yeah I thought people were making a leap on that too. @Nintendohnut you didn't answer my previous mention; did you reach your target last night?

Yeah I thought people were making a leap on that too. @Nintendohnut you didn't answer my previous mention; did you reach your target last night? Sorry, missed that while answering your other post. I didn't target you last night, and I had no problems completing my night's plans. Does that help? (That last sentence sounds sarcastic but it wasn't meant to. Genuinely wondering if it helps you to work something out or whether you we're just asking out of interest/to gather general information.)
Rummy Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 So, a number of folks were successful, but we had little to go on. I guess it is early for reveals etc though, we at least got some useful info of the day. Don't forget about the code if I die tonight guys, I have a strong feeling it isn't going to change to anything else - also why Yvonne posted the phone face for us.

Nah, just a roundabout way of asking if you targeted me (if you had you may likely avoid answering or admit to it in case someone tracked you).
Mr-Paul Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 We still haven't heard from some people, @Jon Dedede, I see you viewing the thread, say hello! Also @Jimbob, haven't heard from you really, @Zell, others, COME ON! I know it's only day two but it's nice to get a bit of chat going. I think this day will probably end without anything happening. @Yvonne, is it carrying on, or are we going to sleep?
Nintendohnut Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Well he said it would end at 10pm today so I guess he will end it when he's next online.
Yvonne Posted October 4, 2012 Author Posted October 4, 2012 Day will not end tonight as discussion resumed. Day will end 14:00 tomorrow if discussion dies.
Jimbob Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Sorry for my absence today, but i'm here now. My target for night 1 was Peeps, and i have a question. Why have you got to disobey Lt Daniels?
Dedede Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 I got to my target, nothing to write home about yet though. Vote: No Lynch
The Peeps Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Sorry for my absence today, but i'm here now. My target for night 1 was Peeps, and i have a question. Why have you got to disobey Lt Daniels? I don't know why I have to disobey him, apparently I have to do it once but doing so will make me lose my vote the following day. If Lt Daniels wants to come forward so I can disobey him, that'd be good :p I'm not sure what will happen if I'm not able to do it before something happens (he dies/game ends).
Zell Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Based on Jimbob's info, I'm going to guess that your character is McNulty. :p I think the telephone numbers are a bit of a dead end until we get some more information (I guess we have to wait for someone else to turn up dead). I doubt it's some complicated riddle, probably just part of someone's power and they've just neglected to tell us.
Rummy Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Well, I didn't want to mention it, but I had an option to disobey Daniels last night at risk of the same consequence.
Mr-Paul Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Interesting. So can this Daniels bloke issue orders to people? Did you do what this guy said Rummy?
Zell Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Daniels is in charge of the detail investigating the Barksdale crew, in the show at least.
Rummy Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Chain of command, I followed orders. Peeps clearly did the same, we both had votes today.
jayseven Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Yes - Lt. Daniels is in charge of McNulty and Bunk - McNulty 'stepped out of line' by, basically, telling a Judge about a bunch of shit which made the judge exert political pressure on McNulty's Boss's Boss's Boss's Boss to 'sort it out'. It trickles back down to Daniels, who is told by his boss (Captain Valchek was it? I can't honestly remember) to take care of 'it', but do it quietly and quickly. Daniels therefore has little manpower and little resources to use to chill out the political fire that's been started. Daniels is a very politically aware cop, whereas McNulty doesn't have a political bone in his body, but is a very good cop. mcNulty disobeys Daniels in the show by essentially going over his head and getting the wire-tap go-ahead from the DAs. Daniels does find this out, and tries to keep it a bit quiet from his boss (his boss is the one to really keep an eye on, for at the end everything kinda seems to go HIS way). Daniels also covers for his colleagues - at one point he helps a few cops 'get their story straight' before a potential internal affairs investigation. Srsly - you guys NEED to watch the show. It's unbelievably good.
