Goafer Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 I think the design brief was "Promote the MK Wheel where possible". I like to think the brief was "We all know a recession is on. Even though the game is called Mario Kart, we only have the budget for either Mario or the Kart on the cover." followed by a brain storming session huddled around a KFC bargain bucket focusing on what would look more ridiculous, a kart driving itself or Mario hovering. Clearly they got distracted by trying to figure out the Colonel's secret formula and just went with whichever was first in the title.
Josh64 Posted October 16, 2011 Author Posted October 16, 2011 The background reminds me of so many terrible PowerPoint presentations
Wesley Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I was super confused as to why there were game covers in my thread. Also I'm glad you kept the capital letters @Josh64.
Rummy Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 The background reminds me of so many terrible PowerPoint presentations Haha, powerpoint/bg reference is genius. Hadn't seen it before!
Retro_Link Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Oh god, I've just noticed where the 'Black Bean' logo is pointing...
Fierce_LiNk Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Oh god, I've just noticed where the 'Black Bean' logo is pointing... Hahahahaah. That reminds me of Bo Selecta. The sketch with Mel flicking her bean.
