I don't ever recall seeing a demo for the original Mass Effect, i had to download the 2nd demo in order to get a feel for the series.

I'm still avoiding the demo, 3 weeks and 3 days until release. I'm sure i can wait to be fair, don't want it spoiled or anything. But from your views, it sounds like a very polished title indeed.

Tried the multiplayer on the demo, I'm surprisingly positive on it. The combat is very strategic and tough to stay alive even on the easiest difficulty. You've got to use all the tools at your disposal to get through the enemy waves and complete the objective. The maps aren't huge but meticulously designed providing a lot of strategic options with just a few buildings and a well placed corridor. Cannot wait for the full game, roll on March 9th.

I started downloading the demo. Then I changed my mind and cancelled it. I want everything to be fresh on release day :D Including the visuals and any changes to the interface etc..

Doesn't mean I'm not slightly jealous of you guys playing it though :p

Yep. Wanting to go in as blind as possible with this un' myself. It's not like I'm in need of convincing with a demo.

I've downloaded the ME3 demo but I can't really play it as I'm still plugging away at ME2 - and have been doing so for the past week - assuming I complete ME2 a good week or so before the release on ME3 them I might play the demo but otherwise I see little point due to spoilers.

Off-Topic but in ME2 is there anything in particular I need to do in order to get 'Loyalty Missions' I'm just curious as I'm going for the 'No one left behind' achievement and have been focusing on scanning planets/upgrading stuff but I know that you need your team to be loyal so I was just wondering if there's anything extra I need to do aside from just playing the game and waiting... ::shrug:

Just make sure you upgrade the main points of the ship (shields, weapons, armour, etc). The loyalty missions are all mandatory.

Although to be safe, I always.

Do his loyalty mission last

To get the loyalty missions all you have to do is visit each character when the red headed bird says they want to speak with you so check with her every now and again.

Indeed, my mistake came from

Sending Grunt back to protect the survivors, leaving Jack to cover the door instead. This resulted in her death.

I'm making amends, getting the "Leave no-one behind" achievement before 3 arrives.

I've stuck with the same choices for each of my playthoughs and they always survive the final mission.

Garrus leading the 2nd team both times

Legion in the pipes

Samara doing her biotic stuff

Mordin leading the team back

Hmm for me it was:

Vents: Kasumi I believe

Biotic shield: Samara

Escort: Jacob

Team leader: always Miranda

Due to the way I played the game (visiting every planet possible when I was around, scanning and mining everything, doing all missions that I could find (except for one dlc mission I deliberately kept for after the suicide mission)), I had all upgrades and crewmembers and their loyalties when doing the final mission, so I was well prepared.

Who?s getting this for PC by the way? I?d like to do some co-op as well, if my internet is fixed by then. Although I think I know at least one person who?s getting it on PC.

Is the default female Shepard face on loan from Saints Row The Third? It looks totally out of place.

Hopefully this is an old build as it runs like arse on PS3. At least it looks significantly better than past entries in the series, although there's still plenty of rough spots.

Bioware are releasing 6 copies a week early in New York, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Berlin, Paris and London.

They will be attached to weather balloons, sent into space and they'll fall back down. GPS tracking will be on the website, and the first person who finds it gets to keep it.

I imagine all of them will land where nobody can get them.

I'll be guessing they'll land in the following locations

1: The English Channel

2: An Amish Community

3: Brest

4: Alcatraz

5: Autzwitz

6: Grand Canyon

Random plots i reckon, would be awesome if just one of these locations were right.

Is anyone up for doing the co-op tonight? Around 7PM?

Which platform? I don't have a mic but I'll leap in for a game or two on Xlive if the TV's free.

Actually might go right out and buy one for this.
