Jonnas Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Anyone seen the latest episode of HIMYM yet? I thought it was great, really funny. Made me laugh more than most of the other episodes this season. This latest episode, as well as the one before it, were pretty good. "Randy Wharmpiss, you're a genius!" makes me laugh every time. And Robin's commercial The latest episode was pretty good, from several perspectives. Truly, this season is much better than anything in Season 5.
Mokong Posted November 9, 2010 Author Posted November 9, 2010 Haha, phew... misread it. Somehow thought "Better off Ted" was a HIMYM episode name

The whispering childishly rude words across the room had me in stitches. And sorry Mokong
Jonnas Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 The whispering childishly rude words across the room had me in stitches. I liked more the awesome return of the "Legen-Hold it..."
enchantress Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Oddly enough I only discovered HIMYM about two years ago when a friend of mine borrowed the first season from a workmate of his and brought it over to watch. I still enjoy watching it when it's on, along with a few other comedies that are airing at the moment, but seeing Lily does remind me of Buffy which makes me want to watch the entire series again. Dark Willow was pretty awesome :p.
Ashley Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Good news everyone! Next week (in America, obviously) is the return of Robin Sparkles! A brief chat with Smulders about the episode: http://www.tvsquad.com/2010/11/12/robin-sparkles-space-teens-interview-how-i-met-your-mother/
Ashley Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 I'm just going to put this out there: Two beavers are better than one.
Charlie Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 I'm just going to put this out there: Two beavers are better than one. They're twice the fun. Quality episode right there. Was laughing all the way through it.
Jonnas Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Man, really awesome episode. When the beavers appeared, I had roughly the same reaction as Ted and Barney
Mokong Posted November 16, 2010 Author Posted November 16, 2010 That episode was so LEGENDARY, haha. Glad I wasn't drinking anything when the beavers came out, I would have spewed like Ted and Barney did. That was so f'ing awesome. Who was playing Glitter too, is she a singer or something? Also good to find out about whose wedding Ted was potentially at in the 1st ep of this season.

Nicole Scherzinger, from The Pussycat Dolls.
Jonnas Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Just watched the episode a second time, and there was something I missed the first time around: when Barney stops the tape, the question the girls were about to answer was "How much is 23 times 3 ?" I can't believe I ever missed that. A truly legendary episode!
Dan_Dare Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 That was legen-dary! The sheer weight of in-jokes and continuity lols was just amazing, and Space Teens was absolutely incredible. Achingly funny.

I can't believe I ever missed that. A truly legendary episode! At uni today I was animating a tip toe walk. Figured I'd do it three times before doing a mood change. The walk is 23 frames so I said "right, what's 23 times 3?" and then realised.
The Peeps Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 I don't get it... It was just an innocent kids show about maths and beavers
Jonnas Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 So...anyone watched episode 10? This season is just delivering good stuff week after week
The Peeps Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 Loved it. This series is just getting better and better Loved Hurley being in it and the references to Lost Also... Jennifer Morrison
Ganepark32 Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 The Gentleman! Yeah, it's definitely back on track and getting better with each episode now. Think everytime they throw in a Robin Sparkles episode it generally picks things up.
Eddage Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 Does Marshall still have a slap left or has he used them all?
Ashley Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 He has used at least one, maybe two? Initial, Barney's play, Slapsgiving one and two...so yeah one left.
The Peeps Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 That was another great bit in the Robin Sparkles ep, when they first watch it and Barney thinks it's a porno and goes to slap Marshall One slap left. Maybe Marshall gives it to Ted as a wedding present.
Mokong Posted November 25, 2010 Author Posted November 25, 2010 One slap left. Maybe Marshall gives it to Ted as a wedding present. They'd have to do something truely epic and unexpected for the final slap. It likely won't be in an ep dedicated to it like the two Slapsgivng Eps. Ep 10 was so awesome. When... Hurley appeared I was I couldn't believe it. It was so awesome.... "Hey somebody shout out random numbers" I had to rewind and listen again to make sure I wasn't imagining things.
