I think we can assume based on the pictures of some of the other games that its not as powerful as the Wii. But those screenshots do look incredible.

I'm not sure what the cameraman was trying to film there. Perv.

This 3DS is looking good.

There was a 3DS in that video?

You can't see the 3DS in video, it's why we never seen much footage of it. You need to be there to see the 3D, not through stream/picture.

You seem to have completely missed what I was getting at.

And I understand that 3D can't be conveyed without being there in person.

I'm getting the 3DS especially for this! It looks amazing, the graphics are just gorgeous. There's some brilliant games coming out for the 3DS. I've always wanted MGS to come out for the DS...looks like I got my wish! :D

You know "The Naked Sample" is kind of a worrying title.

Will it really be the full game, or a "sample" of parts of it?

Yeah that's what I'm thinking, hopefully it will have a decent length and isn't just a short extra chapter.

All I can see is 2D...

Nah, maybe C cups.

Either way, MGS is a top notch, quality statement for the platform.

I liked Kojima's reaction when he saw the 3DS. This guy is a bit of a pioneer and anything that brings a cinematic experience in 3D to the platform is a great thing for the 3DS.

Boktai next?

He said very, very good things about the Wii Remote when that was first revealed. At least he's actually following up, this time.

I'm trying to remember if he was behind Elebits/Eledees. I know it was Konami at least.

I'm certain it was a different, internal Konami division. I'm fairly sure they went on to make Dewy's Adventure.

Will Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D Be An Actual Game?

mgs3d_0071.jpg

The Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D – Naked Sample tech demo running on the Nintendo 3DS at E3, as we speak, is just that: a tech demo to show off the device’s stereoscopic abilities. Does this mean we’ll never see an actual Metal Gear game on the 3DS?

Not quite, according to Kojima Productions.

In a live stream where series director Hideo Kojima and other members of Konami answered fan questions, they replied in answer to that very question: “We’re going to see what people think and feel. What [Kojima] is going to do, is decide the right direction. This was more of a 3D depth presentation. The real game won’t be like that. Your eyes get tired.”

So a Metal Gear on 3DS isn’t quite confirmed just yet, but it isn’t off the table either.
