arnold Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 Nearly that time again, a few folk gonig for Christmas Number 1, who do you think s gonig to get it? From top of my head theres: G4 and Cliff Crazy Frog --; Nizlopi Westlife and Diana Ross The pogues Tony Christie I'm hoping for Nizlopi and the JCB song, been listening to it the past couple days and it's growing on me i love it, heard it first on Radio 1 and liked it but I want it to get to Number 1, knowing the charts though, it'll be Grannies vs Toddlers, Cliff vs Frog, whoever wins, we lose.
Mr. Bananagrabber Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 Hopefully they will all be in the same bus accident.
Monopolyman Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 JCB FTW! P.S. You're all such miserable scrooge's
Ashley Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 Weren't The Kaiser Chiefs and someone doing a song, or similar bands. Shame Oasis aren't releasing "Let There Be Love" for Xmas number one. Sure its not festive but its a great song.
dukkadukka Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 i reckon the jcb song will surprise everyone and do it, much the same as mad world did last year, or the year before, i can't remember.
Shorty Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 That Crazy Frog thing is still going? That's one thing I don't miss being over here....
Sarka Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 Is the X Factor winner realesing a single for Xmas? And Chico is I believe. Also channel 4 are doing a "Bring back the Christmas #1" so that might get it.
Tyson Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 That Crazy Frog thing is still going? That's one thing I don't miss being over here.... It seems to be getting less popular every day. Hopefully this'll be it's last "bring bring".
BeerMonkey Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 i want that JCB song to win heard on CD:UK its pretty funky hehe...well its better than the other trash (if crazy frog gets number one im leaving the country in disgust :S) :(
gemsi Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 (if crazy frog gets number one im leaving the country in disgust :S) :( I think most people which i good mind will as well.

Ashley Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 That Crazy Frog thing is still going? That's one thing I don't miss being over here.... The game is out soon! But yeah, not good. Saw McFly's vid, quite cool and arty in a weird nightmarish way. My non-money is on ...Westlife. The X-Factor people didn't win it two years ago (beat by Mad World) so it could happen. As much as I dont like Westlife you know, can never control this shit.

Afraid to say it but...you're wrong. Mad World beat The Darkness - Christmas Time (Don't Let The Bells End) to number 1. I know this because I am a massive Darkness fan . Michelle McManus, Pop Idol winner's song All This Time came out the week after xmas and stayed number 1 for four weeks. ________ Homemade Vaporizer Bowl Edited April 2, 2011 by the_mars_volta

Platty Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 Saw the guys play that JCB song on richard and judy the other day. It's not too bad, definitely the best out of what arnold has listed.. crazy frog ¬_¬ Oasis or a John Lennon number one would be nice tho.

No my point was in 2003 everyone's money was on X-Factor, Pop Idol or other crappy reality tv show and they didn't win. Mad World did. So im saying don't presume X-Factor people are going to win just cause its shitty bollocks reality tv nonsense.
AshMat Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 I want " is this the way to saaaanta's grotto" that ad makes me chuckle
Sarka Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 I'm suprised James Blunt's at 25/1, even though High wasn't overly popular, Wisemen is the best track on his album imo. Who knows what might happen!
CooInTheZoo Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 Is that JCB the shit song about driving with his dad? *vomits....everywhere* I hope none of them are number one....maybe Hung Up 'cuz its been stuck in my head since the start of november. -starts humming dah, dudila dudilalalala, dudila dudila!! dudila dudila!!!-
