welsh_gamer Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Tetris Party Deluxe is coming. Suprised it's taken this long to see casual friendly Tetris arrive on Wii, in actual physical form of course! I thought this did pretty well on WiiWare, but I'm guessing there is still a large % of the Wii market who are unaware of the service.Wonder how much extra features this will have compared to the WiiWare version. Doubt there will be much change in the single player area, but online was very limited in the WiiWare version, but Wii Speak support is great news, and should mean that we'll be seeing 4 player action. If you've allready got the WiiWare version will you be buying?
RedShell Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 *rubs eyes* Compatible with... Wii Wheel!?
Fierce_LiNk Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 *rubs eyes* Compatible with... Wii Wheel!? Haha, that's what I saw! And, Balance Board. This game has eveeeerything.
Coolness Bears Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 If I had the internet on my Wii right now I'd so be buying this, even though I have Tetris Party and already play Tetris non stop at Tetris Friends. I LOVE TETRIS.
killer kirby Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 *Looks at all the other Tetris games I have* ...meh, I can always go for the same game, consider my a buyer

S.C.G Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Compatible with Wii speak? lol imagine the trash talk... Player 1 - 'lolol I really bricked you up good there!' Player 2 - 'block off!' :p
markderoos Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 And Vitality Sensor: Oh man, the speed and all those lines, I can't take it any more!!! I have to calm down, otherwise the Vitaly Sensor will kick in and add up a notch!!!
Shorty Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 Surely anything is compatible with the wheel, it's just a big chunk of plastic after all. By that logic they could put "compatible with a chicken sandwich" on the front. Still, this could actually be a very enjoyable party game, rotating blocks by twisting the wii remote and then slamming down to bring it home. That said, no Tetris game has ever been better than the original Gameboy game, although Tetris DS came damn close to recapturing that magic.

But woah, WiiSpeak! It would be awesome if it wasn't just used for online, and was an actual mode. You could shout to play tetris! ''LEFT, LEFT, SPIN, RIGHT, DROP!''
LostOverThere Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 You could shout to play tetris! ''LEFT, LEFT, SPIN, RIGHT, DROP!'' I would hate that, so, so much...
welsh_gamer Posted February 18, 2010 Author Posted February 18, 2010 But woah, WiiSpeak! It would be awesome if it wasn't just used for online, and was an actual mode. You could shout to play tetris! ''LEFT, LEFT, SPIN, RIGHT, DROP!'' The factsheet was revealed yesterday (see below). You may be right about Wii Speak control, but it could just be the way it's worded in the statement. If there was online chat wouldn't they have mentioned that in the Nintendo Wi-Fi point, instead of the new way's to play point? Pookiablo Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 I have the Wiiware version of this - is pretty good fun, but I doubt I'll pick up the physical form version. The balance board mode wasn't the greatest either, slightest movement would sometimes result in fucking everything up!
MindFreak Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 God, the guy playing sucks. But no, I won't pick this up. The balance board mode is not what keeps me playing this and although it might be a slightly better Tetris experience, I already play too much Tetris.
