So yea SOAG and his better half have decieded to bite the bullet and tie the knot, we have been putting it off for long enough lol. So on the 24th of September at 11 am we will be walking up the aisle and getting hitched! I'm so excited. We will be getting married in Belfast City hall, it will be a non suit affair, I'll be wearing jeans and a t-shirt lol. Then it's back to the house for a piss up and Nintendo then fly out to disneyland paris for our honeymoon. SO EXCITED, even though I hate weddings lol. The venue Edited February 8, 2010 by soag

Caris Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Congrats Soag. Question, are you really going to wear jeans and a t-shirt on one of the biggest days of your life?
Paj! Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Congrats Soag. Question, are you really going to wear jeans and a t-shirt on one of the biggest days of your life? If it's one of the biggest days of his life, shouldn't be able to wear whatever he wants?
Raining_again Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 If it's one of the biggest days of his life, shouldn't be able to wear whatever he wants? he will too, that's just the way soag is. (a mad crazy fool hell bent on doing whatever is not normal, yet one of my favourite friends )
Caris Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 If it's one of the biggest days of his life, shouldn't be able to wear whatever he wants? Course it is, I just can't get my head around it that's all.
Paj! Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Suits and wedding dresses are really just societal norms originating from traditional wear for christian weddings I assume... I think if I got married I'd want it to be fairly traditional/smart, but each to their own.
soag Posted February 7, 2010 Author Posted February 7, 2010 he will too, that's just the way soag is. (a mad crazy fool hell bent on doing whatever is not normal, yet one of my favourite friends ) Damn tooting!!!! Yea I dont do suits it's just not my thing. I plan to wear converse, ripped jeans, band t-shirt and to make things kinda smart looking some sort of suit jacket over it with a couple of badges attached to the lapel, it's going to look awesome . I'm hoping to get this top to wear It's Slipknot and it has a bride on it so its perfect .
soag Posted February 7, 2010 Author Posted February 7, 2010 what's bex gonna wear george? She is getting married in the nip (in my dreams lol) She is hoping to get married in this
Eenuh Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 A big congrats to you and your girl! =) I always said I wouldn't get married, and if I would I would go in a non-white dress thing. But after a few years I think I'm starting to change my mind. I just don't know anymore. X3 But yes, wear whatever you feel like wearing that day! Don't let other people tell you what to do as it's all about what you want to do on your special day. ^___^
Jimbob Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Congrats soag. Makes me laugh that this is probably one of the only weddings i've heard of that you are wearing what you want basically. I've been to many and all have been suit-based. And a very much gaming-themed wedding party after. Some people would be jealous of that.
