I think your team skill can change all the time. It's more reflective of how well you're doing rather than affective of your match outcome. Change report is for your players' individual skills.

Oh fuck. I think I need a new team at the end of the season. Or a retirement.

You put out a way too young side today. Average age should be over 26!

Wow. Totally not expecting that.

Another thing, my skill for my team has all of a sudden gone up to 7? Does it change throughout? I thought it changed after change reports since I haven't brought in anyone new in past month or so...

Some of your lower skilled players are injured and they're not taken into account with the team skill average. When they recover your skill will drop again. :heh:

It was an expected result against jayseven. A better team at their venue. In the same situationl most of the time the win will go to the home side. (And his tactics were better than mine.) I was going to stick out a youth side today, I wish I had. :(

Actually, looking at the report, your choice of playmaker is mental.

I went with the weakest player in my team as the playmaker today, because I knew Mcoy would be marking someone.

I'm not liking having one midfielder that is slightly higher skilled than the rest of them. I really want to make him playmaker, but everyone likes to mark him :/

I never have. :heh:

I'm assuming I did that because I saw that you didn't have him as your playmaker very often? Or he had fewer assists than other midfielders.

Odwin; yeah, I figured I had the rest of your tactics pin-pointed, but even I can't see why I chose him as my playmaker - if I had gone for piechnik I think I'd've scored more goals.

I'm never comfortable with 1-0 wins/losses, but my Packham (we must have cousins in our squads or something, Odwin) was injured and I didnt want to risk an all-out assault without my goal in safe hands.

Our league is still ridiculous - no gaps have formed anywhere. I have a game in hand over DuD, therefore I'd say I'm in the strongest position at the moment. I think after friday's round we'll see a bit more of a divide in the teams.

I'm pretty confident I can beat Eddage's side and complete the relegated-teams hat trick :P ReZ's team basically took the piss with 4 up-front. If he had fiddled his tactics a bit different he'd've had more chances, I reckon (minus the long-range shots).

Happy with that result. I kind of figured Moria would guess all my tactics but I didn't really have a viable B game plus I thought if he somehow didn't guess correctly I would sneak a win.

Lost all my away games to the big 4 last season so this is an improvement!

Mcoy is not having a good run at the moment, relegation lures for Mcoy.

Mcoy has gone 8 games without a win (how did Mcoy get promoted)

Really not trying against the promoted sides, am I? Just chucking out a weakened side with average age under 26. Not always the best thing.

Oh, well, back to the full-strength methinks.

Maddog; if you think you're getting relegated then simply do your best to get your players' form up. Get them rotating so that when you go back down to the next league you're seriously beefed up and ready to take on the rest down there :)

This is how to go you have to think long term. So you may get relegated but come back in 2 seasons time as a uber side.

I always get my youth up to 100% experience. Not doing that would make me cry.

Say you get a 26 year old 8 - he seems great but he'll likely only ever max out at a 10 or 11. You get an 18 year old 4, treat him right and he'll max out at a 13 or a 14. You'd hope that the 18 year old would hit 8 skill bars by the time they're just 23 (22 with a lot of luck, or a training cone).

So what does not being in the line up do to form or average form? Anything?

Mcoy thinks there are a whole lots of facts that can affect form along with randomness. Mcoy thinks that younger players who have not played too much will not be affected much by being on the bench where as an experienced vet may lose form after a few games as he is being left out.

Mcoys example for players on the pitch seems to be like this. The opposition have 7 chances and your goalkeeper saves them all scoring a massive form boost, however this could drastically hit your defence as their job to prevent chances has failed. Mcoys second example, your midfield sets up a lot of chances and your strikers score 3/4 of them giving a nice form boost to the midfield and attack. Mcoy however has seen his players do awesome and still have a slight form decrease. Mcoy thinks age takes a very important part in this as well.

Mcoy also agrees with the other statements, Mcoy knows he may have some relegation problems but he still aims for high form and 100% ME

Fridays updates we are nearly back on track wow!

Can you read Domstercools mind?

Dysonism F.C 1-3 Secret United

Dysonism suffered a big loss to an impressive United who were in fine form at the Temple of Dysonism. Dysonism played 3-5-2 but seemed unable to cope with Uniteds fine attacking display as Crowley headed two in before the first half was done. While they had 5 in midfield Dysonism created the same amount of chances as United and shared the same possession level. A 3rd goal for United just after the half restarted finished the match with a Sandford header for Dysonism being a consolation rather than a real threat. United have now gained great wins over the Elites and Dysonism away and are looking like a real threat for the title. Dysonism on the other hand seem to have so much potential but defiantly had an off game today.

Tin Can Club 1-3 The Sixty Fourthers

The Sixty Fourthers showed they are back in full form as they scored a deserved victory over struggling Tin Can Club. Tin Can Club played 4-3-3 and attempted to outscore the 64s, however like the previous match the 64s more traditional 4-4-2 formation held solid. The 64s with their stronger midfield had 3 times the amount of chances of Tin Can Club. They took the lead after 8 minutes as Rikabi headed one past the goalie. However when Tin Can did make chances they converted, youth striker Saaf scored his first goal for the club as he was set up with a wonderful through ball by Gottskalk. The 64s quality shone through though and goals by Yaketi and Kamal ensured the victory. The 64s win puts them in the ascendancy and looking for fresh victims, for Tin Can Club they are quickly learning this league is unforgiving and need to get some results pretty quickly to stay in it.

Haden United 2-0 Essex Elites

United beat the Elites in a contest were United while not at their best shut the Elites down. With 7 chances to 1 and nearly 60% possession United always looked like winning if they could turn their dominance of the ball into goals. Agostini after coming on as a sub skilfully chested down a set piece cross and hit in the first goal pass the flailing goalie. Headon found himself with the ball moments before the 1st half and scored the 44th goal of his career as he turned a defender and lobbed it over the goalies head. The Elites were far from hopeless but lacked a certain game changing ability and looked unable to step up to the plate as they came out in the 2nd half. United are keeping the win streak going and are out the blocks fast while the Elites still look like they could fall into trouble if they are not careful.

Happenstance FC 2-2 Roostophe Rovers

Happenstance looked like they had stage fright as defending champions Rovers scored after 10 minutes with Sheldon drilling in a fierce free kick. Another star player Bond headed in the 28th goal of his career to cement the feeling that Happenstance were heading for another loss. However Rovers lost crucial defender Nugent in the 26th minute to a nasty tackle. Happenstance seemed lifted by this fact and club legend Burbage found a way through the weakened Rovers defense to make it 2-1 before half time. After half time Burbage worked his way down Rovers win and swung in a cross that Burnell connected with to make it 2-2. Rovers had nothing left to offer and it was Happenstance who were searching for the win. However Rovers did hold out and lost another 2 points many would have expected them to take. For Happenstance they fought hard for their first points and come away ready to build on this game.

Analysis

Most Important Result: Happenstance FC 2-2 Roostophe Rovers, great comeback for Happenstance earning a heroic draw, Rovers may rue the lost points later in the season.

Turned on the Style Award: The 64s, played with great style to show they may well be the side of the moment.

Player of the Day: Shaun Burbage, Happenstance FC, scored one and set one up a true club legend earned his team a crucial point.

Silverdale Hotpot 1-1 Noodle Esporte Clube

These two teams have had a few battles in their time and seem to stay in the same leagues as each other, however Noodle has never triumphed over Silverdale. Today was no different but Noodle will feel better with the outcome. Both teams played 4-4-2 but Silverdale seemed to have more coherence to their attack with 8 chances to Noodles 3. Despite this Noodle struck first as young defender Pesquero struck a looping header home to shock the home fans. A spout of yellow cards and injuries threated to undermine the good football that was being played, this was forgotten as Silverdale legend Sidwell slotted in the 26th goal of his career to make things 1-1. Silverdale pushed forward for more but a stirring effort from Noodles defense and goalie made sure both teams took something home from this match. Both these teams are veterans of this league and it is hard to tell where they will end up in this league but their rivalry will surely be fired up for the rematch.

Battlestar Odwinica 3-1 AFC Rez Rabies

Odwinica suffered a large blow in this match that should be reported first before any of the goals. New star defender Cabrera was badly injured as he fell awkwardly and twisted his ankle in a gruesome looking injury on 16 minutes. He will be out until early December in what is a cruel blow for Odwinica. After seeing this incident the rest of Odwinicas players rallied forward to do the best without their fallen team mate. Collin and Tate combined as Tate headed in a Collin cross to make it 1-0 to Odwinica. Tate scored again after the break and Collin set up another goal this time for Groves as the two players had great games to give Odwinica the win. Rabies played 4-3-3 and Wiberg scored a consolation goal, but the great defending Passoni and other Odwinica defenders made sure it was only 1. Rabies suffer their first loss while Odwinica prove they can function without their stars.

DuDs Baggies 2-3 Emo Blades

Two teams that many are tipping to be near the top of this two close to call league participated in a thriller today. Baggies wary of the Blades defensive reputation played 4-3-3 and seemed to have the early momentum. As Blades star goalie Packham was badly injured and they took the lead minutes later as Gurara struck a shot that went in off the post. However Higgs curled in a goal of his own before half time to make it 1-1 going into the break. Piechnik assisted by Berenger rose above the Baggies defense and headed a goal in to make it 2-1 to the Blades. However with the home crowd behind them the Baggies hit back as Guara produced some magical dribbling skills taking it past two defenders before whacking it home. With moments to go this back and forth game was given one last bit of drama as Piechnik nutmegged a Baggies defender and flicked it past their goalie. It was the end to an incredible game where 3 points were deserved by both teams but it was the Blades who took home all the glory.

Cubic County 2-1 Edd Kirby Athletic

County badly needed some confidence to be injected into their side and this game may have given it to them. The game was tension filled and 4 yellow cards were handed out in the 1st half with no goals from either team. County came out the brighter team and as they hurtled forward a cross forced a mistake by Athletic player Bennington who headed the goal into his net. County were made to fight for their first win though, as Bennington made up for his mistake heading the ball into the correct net late in the 2nd half. County fans were leaving already in the 81st minute just as Hewitt scored an incredible diving header to give County a deserved victory. The fans went wild and Countys future looked a bit brighter.

Analysis

Most Important Result: DuDs Baggies 2-3 Emo Blades, great match and great win for the Blades this one may affect promotions down the line.

Turned on the Style Award: Emo Blades, had to come out their shells and fight for a dramatic win with attacking football.

Player of the Day: Rudolf Piechnik, Emo Blades, a thorn in the Baggies side his goals may help his side later in the season to promotion or even a championship.

Complete Domstercool 3-2 Martinsts Men

These two teams participated in a dramatic match that nearly gave the Men their first away win. Midfielder Johnson first broke away from the Domstercool defense after 4 minutes to make it 1-0 and then headed in a White cross to give the Men some huge momentum. This was combined with Domstercools midfielder Siddall being badly injured. However Domstercool were not done and their sole striker Rodwell toe poked in a cross to make it 2-1 to the Men. After half time various late challenges meant both sides were given a tally of yellow cards. Through this chaos Domstercool earned two more goals the first a cleanly struck shot by Richards just outside the 6 yard box and the second a wonder goal by Mashiter that went into the top left corner from outside the box. As both sides went at each other various nasty tackles flew in with White and Richards being sent off leaving both sides with 10 men. In the end Domstercool closed out this dramatic match to at last record a win, but the Men showed spirit in this bitter match.

Jaffa Munchers 3-1 Recall United

Some bad discipline meant United's failure to gain any points from Munchers in matches past and present continued. After 28 minutes United gave away a penalty which captain Haky coolly converted for the Munchers. United's star duo of Hollingdale and Wallgren combined to make things level. This was very short lived as Munchers regained the lead via a Albalah shot a minute later! In the 2nd half any chances of a United fightback were dashed as striker Deacon pushed over Munchers goalkeeper after a heated confrontation. He was given a straight red and United lost any potential bite they had, Gasbo curled a effort in from outside the box to make it 3 and finish the game. Munchers and United are two teams that are both tipped to be promoted and the rematch will be an interesting one.

Dudezz 3-1 Made of Win

Dudezz gained 3 points against manager less Made of Win in an entertaining match. Winston the hat trick hero scored first to signal another miracle victory for Made of Win. However this time it was not to be. Dudezz with Hand at the back keeping an organized defense pushed forward scoring 3 times with Stone again making a great impact. He swung in a deadly cross for the 2nd goal for Hannam who was another star player for Dudezz. He then set Stone up who broke away from the lackluster Made of Win defense. Dudezz are outsiders but are chalking up wins against veteran teams that have fallen into disrepair. Made of Win just want some love from a manager!

Discount Viagra 2-1 Soap Box Utd

Viagra earned a famous victory over Utd, it is their first big win and one they deserved. Playing 4-3-3 they showed no fear. Beans commanded a weakened midfield and set up Ewing for the first Viagra goal. However a side with Utds potential didn't let Viagra win that easy. Bose proved his worth with another goal for Utd. But Beans was inspired and threaded the ball through for Flood who slid his shot past the keeper. Utd had no response, they played some youth players and paid the price. But this is not to take anything away from Viagra who earnt themselves a standing ovation from their home fans.

Analysis

Most Important Result: Discount Viagra 2-1 Soap Box Utd, great victory for Viagra and a bit of a stumble for one of the strongest team in the league.

Turned on the Style Award: Dudezz, played with a real flair that should make other teams take notice.

Player of the Day: David Beans, Dudezz, played well above his estimated level and set up 2 goals that gave Dudezz a heroic victory.
