Paj! Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 (edited) Aaaaaaand closed. Tori Amos wins. Oh shit, she's in the finals. I'm so happy! Never thought that would happen. Think this was Razzi's nom, though? EDIT: Woops WHAT THE HELL happened tharrr. I pressed Edit, and this shit happened. Oh well. Edited September 14, 2009 by Paj!
S.C.G Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 Tori Amos... hands down... on both pianos. :p
Paj! Posted September 12, 2009 Author Posted September 12, 2009 Cornflake Girl I like Such Great Heights, but I hate when songs make reference to the fact they're songs in the lyrics. Breaking the fourth wall or whatever. Plus I way prefer Cornflake Girl. !lol!!!!!!!
Eddage Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 Cornflake Girl for me, not usually my thing but I really like it!
Ashley Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 Postal Service Cornflake Girl was nice and all but much like cornflakes themselves. Something I consumed and will never think about again. Plus that video is one of the most horribly 80's things I've ever seen.
chairdriver Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 RABBIT. WHERE'D YOU PUT THE KEYS GIRL?
Paj! Posted September 13, 2009 Author Posted September 13, 2009 Postal Service Cornflake Girl was nice and all but much like cornflakes themselves. Something I consumed and will never think about again. Plus that video is one of the most horribly 80's things I've ever seen. It's disgusting. The US video is better (this is the UK/European one). But couldn't be arsed finding it. In any case, she's really only had a handful of really notable videos. Tori Amos - 4 Postal Service - 2
Ganepark32 Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 I'm gonna vote Postal Service. I voted for Tori Amos last round but I didn't care for it or the song it was up against so it was a heads or tails situation. Here, though, I really like the sound of the Postal Service song.
Razz Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Tori Amos for me. Seeing it live ignited an even deeper passion for the song.
Fierce_LiNk Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Sorry for my delay, I was going to post this yesterday. Haha, that rhymed. Maybe I should enter myself for the next Music Warez? No? Nevermind. Tori Amos. Hands down. At least for me anyway. The opening few seconds of the song just seems so vibrant and alive.

S.C.G Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 That was a really awesome match, can't wait for the next.

Think this was Razzi's nom, though? It's a very worthy finalist. Like I mentioned in my other post, the song just feels very alive. There's something special about it but I can't put my finger on it. I think the video helped too, particularly with the intro.

Think this was Razzi's nom, though? Aye it was, and to think you scorned at such a choice :p. I however, had faith that the power of orange knickers would prevail, breaking the strong black vines of musical tyranny. Honestly though I don't really care if she loses, it got this far and for that I'm a happy fucking bunny.
dan-likes-trees Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Ahh how did I miss this! I would have been going for the Postal Service... great song that
