Best known for his films such as The Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Home Alone amongst countless others. BBC News That was a total shock. Also I never knew he did Planes,Trains & automobiles another great 80's movie with John Candy and Steve martin. Uncle Buck, The Great Outdoors the list goes on.
