MATtheHAT
Does anybody know, if you have a PAL version and a NTSC version of a game. Do you get two sets of Trophies/Achievements? Or do they count as one game if you know what I mean? I've got the Platinum for this so I could easily get another one if the PAL version is different. Daft
Why would you want to do that? I think trophies are centralised.
dwarf
That is the most whorish thing I've read, in trophy terms.
MATtheHAT
Why would you want to do that? I think trophies are centralised. They are adding new chars and moves for the European release. So I would buy the PAL version, and put my Limited Edition away for safekeeping. The LE is going for between £80 - £100 on eBay at the moment. So it would be a bit of an investment thing. But if they bring the LE to Europe, then it won't be as rare. In which case, I would probably wait and see if the extra content is offered as DLC on the American store. That is the most whorish thing I've read, in trophy terms. What can I say? I am becoming a Trophy whore.

KKOB
I think anyone who plays bad games like Terminator Salvation or Quantum of Solace, just to get platinums is a trophy whore.
MATtheHAT
No mat, you are already there Lol, I am not as bad as some. I like them, it gives me something to aim for and adds a bit of longevity for me. There is no way I would have played through CoD: W@W on Veteran for instance, if it had not been for the carrot at the end. (One more bronze for the Platinum right now) I think anyone who plays bad games like Terminator Salvation or Quantum of Solace, just to get platinums is a trophy whore. I actually thought QoS was alright, multiplayer is good. Terminator, on the other hand, was shite.
MATtheHAT
The next installment in the BlazBlue series.... BlazBlue: Continuum Shift.
Hero-of-Time
Dunno if anyone has posted this yet but the game is getting the PSP treatment. Arc System Works' deliciously different 2D fighter BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger gets considerably smaller in February, when BlazBlue Portable hits the Japanese PSP. It features all 12 fighters from the console version of the game, with Ad Hoc fighting for up to four players, along with a new addition in the form of Legion Mode, a territory control game in which you move your character over a map, taking over new areas via rounds of fighting. BlazBlue Portable is making its way to Japan on February 25th. No word on a North American release, but as long as there's a UMD and you've not upgraded to the PSPgo there's always import shops. MATtheHAT
I love BlazBlue, but I doubt we will see a PAL release of the PSP version for a long time. Good thing the PSP is region free. Also, playing Calamity Trigger on the PSP via the PS3's connectivity thingy is surprisingly well done.
Emerald Emblem
I need to play this, but the PAL versions gets some extra treatment since it's being released so much later.
MATtheHAT
Anybody going to pick this up on the 17th March? Or is that month too crowded with AAA titles for you? £34.85 from ShopTo if you fancy playing an incredible fighter with some of the best netcode I've ever seen. Also, PAL regions get some extra content, and a nice Limited Edition......

drahkon
I might be getting this (although I will probably be broke by then -.-''). Probably wait for a demo, though (or is there one in the US or UK store?).

Probably wait for a demo, though (or is there one in the US or UK store?). I don't think we'll get a demo... Shame really as I really really love this game. I have the NTSC version of this and my boyfriend has platinumed it. So we're really hoping for a new trophy list... So that comment about trophy whoring may well be true while that dude is only level 14, my boyfriend is very nearly level 19. True trophy whore XD Also, does anyone know when the release date for the DS Blazblue is?

Yeah, PS3 is non regional so if you just buy it from Ebay or a worldwide seller I get all my imports from Ebay, it avoids most customs fees
Ike
Anybody going to pick this up on the 17th March? Or is that month too crowded with AAA titles for you? Is that the official release date, because I heard it was the 5th and then the 12th and your saying the 17th (though that's a Wednesday). I preordered the limited edition version from Amazon when it was ~£33 and now it's £39 on Amazon.
