EEVILMURRAY Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 That's right fissure doesn't work on it unless someone used gravity or it used roost. But flying types aren't affected by ground attacks anyway? I think I did mention it, just not in my first post. And I'm not saying someone would just tell them exactly what to do, more like they would tell them what moves a pokemon had when they first got it and stuff like that. Perhaps help them with navigating the caves too. A touch screen would be completely different, they wouldn't be able to tell where on the screen their finger was above without touching it, which might press something they didn't want to press, ect. Even with someone helping them the other person would actually have to take the DS and do it for them, not just tell them what was going on. What they need is a massive touch screen which bumps up to show the cave/town/etc and brail. Job done.
Serebii Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 Flying types and those with levitate are affected by Ground Moves if the move Gravity is in effect or if they use roost
Diageo Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 That's the point, I just thought it was great because it was an exact recreation of what I mentioned earlier. Togepi did get Gravity with Metronome before that though. Still missed... That would have been the luckiest metronomes if you had hit.
Guest Captain Falcon Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 That would have been the luckiest metronomes if you had hit. Luckier than say Lock-on and any other OHKO move?
Goron_3 Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 Luckier than say Lock-on and any other OHKO move? HAHA omg can you imagine if that had happened? I think i remember a friend of mine getting mean look, and then 2 turns later getting Perish song..what mental.
Diageo Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 I've always wondered if there was a pokemon that could learn a move like lock-on and one like sheer cold. 2 hit KO all the time. Or if sableye could somehow get shedinjas ability, invincible!
Ike Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 I've always wondered if there was a pokemon that could learn a move like lock-on and one like sheer cold. 2 hit KO all the time. Or if sableye could somehow get shedinjas ability, invincible! I'm pretty sure Articuno learns Mind Reader + Sheer Cold.
Sheikah Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 I've always wondered if there was a pokemon that could learn a move like lock-on and one like sheer cold. 2 hit KO all the time. Or if sableye could somehow get shedinjas ability, invincible! I could have that arranged. Of course, it woudln't be even an ounce legit, but heh. :p
Diageo Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 I'm pretty sure Articuno learns Mind Reader + Sheer Cold. ur right, why doesnt everyone do that? XD
Goron_3 Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 ur right, why doesnt everyone do that? XD Because Mind Reader makes your next attack hit but doesn't stop them from escaping, so they can switch out. Mean Look & Perish song is probably the best combo.
Diageo Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 But then you faint too? If they switch out just use mind reader again.
Jonnas Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 But then you faint too?If they switch out just use mind reader again. And then they'll switch again :p As for the Mean Look/Perish Song combo, the point is that the Mean Look user can switch out at the last moment. The enemy can't.
Diageo Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 but theres a chance the sheer cold will work when they swap so eventually u would wear them down no?
Jonnas Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 but theres a chance the sheer cold will work when they swap so eventually u would wear them down no? But you only have 5 tries, right? Plus, the enemy has a shot everytime you use Mind Read. Is it worth it?
Emasher Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 It wouldn't be reliable, but it defiantly could wear them down. Its not like you only have one pokemon to use....
Goron_3 Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 But then you faint too?If they switch out just use mind reader again. You can switch out before you faint Until then you can stall with moves like Rest etc.
Serebii Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 HeartGold & SoulSilver are to be bundled with PokéWalk. This is a pedometer which allows you to transfer a Pokémon over to it to level up while you walk. it also has minigames where you can find items

Serebii Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 Here's a picture Its a lot like the Pocket Pikachu 2 back when the original GS came out...but this time it's actually good
ReZourceman Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 (edited) Wow that kinda rules. Edited June 7, 2009 by ReZourceman
Tellyn Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 Gonna have to go to extremes to make sure no one sees what I have in my pocket though. "Say, is that a Pokéball in your pocket, or are you just pleased to see me?" "I, uh, I... GO, PIKACHU! USE THUNDERBOLT!" "MY EYEEEEEEEEES!" "I'M SORRY! I'M SO SORRY!"
Ramar Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 It's an interesting idea, as long as whilst you're walking and leveling it doesn't delete your moveset.
Diageo Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 Would it work if you put it on top of a washing machine I wonder? A good way to get the fatties moving I think
