MoogleViper Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Fuck Lemon and Sugar. If I wanted crunchy stuff I'd eat gravel. Crunchy? What the fuck kind of lemon and sugar do you have?
EEVILMURRAY Posted February 24, 2009 Author Posted February 24, 2009 Take away the lemon and my point still stands on the sugar.
Paj! Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Take away the lemon and my point still stands on the sugar. It's not "crunchy" per say. Unless you have MASSIVE sugar granules on yours.
ReZourceman Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 No fucking Nutella. Poor fucking showing.
Sheikah Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Take away the lemon and my point still stands on the sugar. Yeah but add the lemon back to the equation and sugar dissolves in it. Lemon and sugar is nice, but so is nutella. I've had both types tonight.
Letty Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 I went to visit my mother and brothers today specifically so she would make me and Jordan pancakes. It was mayhem. Delicious mayhem.
Raining_again Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 EEVIL, i think you used sugar cubes instead of granulated sugar I got the ingredients now, but I'm gonna have mine tomorrow, just to be retarded. Yey.
Guest Captain Falcon Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Every year, I have pancakes on shrove Tuesday because every year, I forget that I don't actually like pancakes - i don't dislike them as such, I'm just completely apathetic towards them. I can eat them, and I have done today, but after I've finished, I can't help but wonder why I bothered.
Jimbob Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Had to Wikipedia both Shrove Tuesday and lent. Turns out I have heard about lent - but not Shrove Tuesday. Well, now that you know about Shrove Tuesday its time to celebrate with a pancake. My lent give up this year is..................... pancakes.
Tellyn Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Made some kickass pancakes earlier. I've given myself a pancake addiction however, and shall be making them once I've handed in my English language coursework tomorrow.
EEVILMURRAY Posted February 24, 2009 Author Posted February 24, 2009 Mummy has made too much mix and got some left over for tomorrow. pr0.
Jimbob Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Mummy has made too much mix and got some left over for tomorrow. pr0. Awesome. It's a pity my pancakes where microwave ones...................why!!
CooInTheZoo Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 I named each of my 'cakes while they were cooking. And invented some characteristics they would have. Really not a good idea, not only did it make them harder to cut up and eat, everyone stared with that glassy look in their eyes.
Cube Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Mummy has made too much mix and got some left over for tomorrow. pr0. I think it's impossible to make too much of any food. Well...not when I'm around.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Well, now that you know about Shrove Tuesday its time to celebrate with a pancake. My lent give up this year is..................... pancakes. Every time I read this thread, I get a craving for pancakes. I haven't had any in a while ...
ReZourceman Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 I had pancakes made from batter containing poo once. They were crepe.
Jav_NE Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 I made some last night Real ones, not using those crappy batter mixes which are a total rip off. Egg, milk, flour... topped with Jif lemon and sugar. Lovely.
EEVILMURRAY Posted February 25, 2009 Author Posted February 25, 2009 I had pancakes made from batter containing poo once. They were crepe. You really should stop drawing attention to these.
Ramar Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 I had a pancake yesterday, but I opened the fridge this morning to notice two had been left over. Result, pancake breakfast.
CoolFunkMan Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Fuck Lemon and Sugar. If I wanted crunchy stuff I'd eat gravel. Make them yourself. Brought by the banging year 2007: http://tales.namco.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=62199 Sugar? Crunchy? Wait, what?! What kind of sugar do you have?!! And ty for that link. Unfortunately, I still missed out on pancakes. >< I had pancakes made from batter containing poo once. They were crepe. Oh dear...
ReZourceman Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Am I the only one who knows what EEVIL is talking about. I don't understand how you people are stating sugar isn't crunchy. Theres no debate in it, its fact. Tell em' gringo.
Jimbob Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Every time I read this thread, I get a craving for pancakes. I haven't had any in a while ... I'm thinking of having more myself this evening after a trip to the gym though. I had pancakes made from batter containing poo once. They were crepe. Am I the only one who knows what EEVIL is talking about. I don't understand how you people are stating sugar isn't crunchy. Theres no debate in it, its fact. Tell em' gringo. Sugar is crunchy, not all types though. The usual cane stuff is crunchy.
EEVILMURRAY Posted February 25, 2009 Author Posted February 25, 2009 Sugar? Crunchy? Wait, what?! What kind of sugar do you have?!! The sugar you put in your tea, put a spoonful in your mouth and chomp away. Sugar is used in the creation of my pancakes, so I don't need to add more, which is why I enjoy the flavoursome taste of golden syrup on mine.

Then again, here's me thinking about sugar disolving in heat, which isn't the case with pancakes. Never mind.
EEVILMURRAY Posted February 25, 2009 Author Posted February 25, 2009 I do not waste time waiting for sugar to dissolve.
