Paj! Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Why - Avril Lavigne The Song Remains The Same - Led Zeppelin ----- Round 2 Match 1:Placebo vs. Eagles Of Death Metal Match 2: Match 3:
chairdriver Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Led Zep Not even one of Avril's best songs either.
Paj! Posted January 15, 2009 Author Posted January 15, 2009 Yeah, literally a pointless match! Led Zeppelin I won't lie, I like a bit of old Avril (not sure when this song is from), but this is far from her best.
The fish Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Led Zeppelin, no doubt. I'm listening to it again, and, man, that intro is amazing! So far, this round is a little one-sided looking, but, then again, it is the Zep...
Twozzok Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 While I like Avril that song is plain boring. So LZ
ReZourceman Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Probably the biggest no contest ever. Lead Zeplin
Mr_Odwin Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 I dunno why, maybe because the sound/production is so different to how today's stuff sounds, but I never ever like old rock music. Vote goes to Avril.
Oxigen_Waste Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 I dunno why, maybe because the sound/production is so different to how today's stuff sounds, but I never ever like old rock music. Vote goes to Avril. Really? I mean, you're missing out on 3 fantastic decades for rock!
Molly Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Led Zep. Not sure how Avril made it to round two but there we go.
chairdriver Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Led Zep. Not sure how Avril made it to round two but there we go. Especially when Bjork's All Is Full Of Love was knocked out.
Molly Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Especially when Bjork's All Is Full Of Love was knocked out. That's madness, but that's music warz.
Paj! Posted January 17, 2009 Author Posted January 17, 2009 That's madness, but that's music warz. I love. I just imagined you as some general in the middle of a war zone, brooding over the plan of action in your poorly erected tent thing, as a messenger from the trenches informs you that the army of lesbian robots had been crushed, while the tiny teen rock queens were still intact. Literally going against the best-laid plans.
chairdriver Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 That's madness, but that's music warz. Yeah, it would be mighty rude to both have a cake and eat it.
