Posted December 7, 2008 Well, from recent experience I'd say NOT A PSYCHO. But I guess you never really can tell what a person is "really" like. Being a cynical person (or a loser in love?) I actually know my main 'failing' is that I fall in love too easily. Yet I'd rather have lived loving than to never have 'went for it'. Even if that does mean I get crapped on from a height quite a lot. Other than that, I think humour is very important. Too many people take themselves too seriously and the pressures of glitzy popstars seems to render a lot of people as vain bastards with no show of emotion. Which is my second point. Wear your heart on your sleeve. Let me know what you want. I'm not a mind reader. I'm male and actually sensitive to other peoples needs (as I care a hell of a lot). Therefore that's two. Hmm, a third? Pretty. Slightly uniqiue in the fact that you don't like X band or do X thing because ever other fucker does it. I prefer girls who like Jethro Tull because their dad does. Not because it's cool to be retro. Have some depth to you. Maybe that's all I can think of at the moment. As I said, I'm emerging from a hurtful place and each time you do that I feel you find out more about what you want and more about what you DON'T want. But then, neither is kissing with the taste of booze in your mouth either is nice. All i can say to a good second half for me is someone who doesn't take me for what i have, but for what i am. After dating her I'm pretty sure I won't find any other girl that I Love any time soon. That doesn't make me sad though, I'm having a lot of fun with non serious relationships at the moment. But I will admit that I really like this girl that I know is wrong for me in every way. I don't even find her that attractive. Life sure is a strange thing. When I am out in society and say something that makes everyone feel awkward she has to find it funny so that we can giggle about it together. That's her responsibility. Posted December 8, 2008 maybe I'm a picky asshole, but I'm actually really concerned with what a girl is in to with film, music, literature or whatever. It's a compatibility thing I guess- I just can't imagine spending my nights watching shit, listening to boring music or whatever with somebody who's not going to want to talk about anything interesting with me. Beyond that, I think I have pretty broad tastes with looks an the like. I mean, I have standards but I'd not be put off by somebody who wasn't my one true archetype or anything. Not picky..right. I totally agree. Someone needs to have at least vaguely the same taste as me in stuff, otherwise it's just going to be a boring mess. Same with the type thing, I don't think I have one tbh. It depends on the person. Anyway, someone with the same tastes as me, that can make me laugh = Do me. (Honestly, I'm not a slag. It just felt like a "Do me" moment.) .. Posted December 9, 2008 Hmmm... I don't know to be honest. I mean Letty has a few quirks (insane mood swings, watching awful TV - I had to sit through Mean Girls last night!! T_T, reading shitty "Hello" style magazines, she can't take criticism :p) But at the end of it? She makes me laugh and smile, she's beautiful even though she doesn't think she is, she's unique in many ways and she's incredibly talented in ways I'll never be able to even understand and that's all I really need. This doesn't mean same hobbies as such, although that helps, but just girls i have chemistry with, feel comfortable around and enjoy being with. If said girl is attractive then they are girlfriend material. Some people just do it the other way around which i think is silly. Choosing a girl for her looks is a gamble. I think dating strangers/blind dates in general are silly because no-one ever acts like they would normally on a date. They are trying to impress blah blah.
